One of these is the island<\/a> of Phi Phi and Koh Phangan, although some tour<\/a>ists call it Phangan. In recent years, recreation in these places has been gaining particular popularity. And why not, because this is a real natural oasis located<\/a> in the south<\/a> of the Gulf of Thailand. The island<\/a>s are literally buried in greenery that fills a large area<\/a> of \u200b\u200bthem. White sand, combined with azure waters and huge boulders, present an indescribable picture that you should definitely see<\/a> with your own eyes.<\/p>\n

Phi Phi Island<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Less than 45 minutes' drive from Phuket<\/a> are the unique<\/a> Phi Phi Islands, which are called the pearl among the Thai islands for their incredible pristine beauty.<\/p>\n

Phi Phi is an archipelago that includes several islands at once. Two of them are famous, and the rest<\/a> are so small, moreover, not suitable for recreation, that only divers have heard of them. The first island is Phi Phi Don, which is known to many tourists<\/a>. As for the second, its name Phi-phi-lei, most likely, does not mean much, because the place is unsuitable for recreation, for that – this is a real fairy tale for enjoying beauty. As for the smaller islets, some of them boast coral reefs, which is a delight for scuba<\/a> divers.<\/p>\n

Phi Phi Don attracts with the unusual shape of the island, nature and, of course, clear waters. Going on vacation<\/a> to Thailand, and choosing the presented place, you can be sure that you will not leave here without impressions. The island has everything for an unforgettable pastime – white beaches<\/a>, clear sea<\/a>, beautiful jungle and unforgettable beauty of the mountains. Few of the tour<\/a>ists know, but Phi Phi Don is, in fact, two large limestone monoliths, moreover, the spit connecting them is very small and at its narrowest point its width is only 150 meters.<\/p>\n

Phi Phi Lei has little to compare with the beauty and lush nature of Phi Phi Lei. Although there is a beach vacation<\/a> here, it is quite modest, because most of the island is surrounded by steep and high cliffs, and the depth at the very coast is more than 20 meters, in some places it even reaches 34 meters. True, the island is a real boon for divers who flock here all over the world<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Conside<\/a>ring that tours<\/a> to Thailand are purchased by the majority of those travel<\/a>ers who want to enjoy the sea<\/a> and the sun to their fullest, the resort<\/a> is still design<\/a>ed for a beach holiday<\/a>, so trest<\/a>le beds, umbrellas, as well as multiple drinks, of which there are a lot in coastal cafes, are presented to the attention of vacationers. You can't find all this on wild beaches, but there is a beautiful lagoon, natural spaces and complete silence. If we talk about the most popular beaches, then among the comfortable ones it is worth highlighting Laem Tong, where solitude, beauty, tranquility and comfort are intertwined. True, the most popular and most visit<\/a>ed is Maya Bay. Admirers of the film “The Beach” are not only familiar with this creation, but also aware that the picture was filmed here. Therefore, there are many vacationers in the local area<\/a>. Due to the fact that this part of the island is reserved,<\/p>\n

If we talk about any special sights<\/a>, then it is not possible to highlight them, because Phi Phi itself is a pearl that tourists<\/a> come to admire while resting on other islands in<\/a> Thailand. Perhaps some of the brightest are the Monkey Island, Maya Bay, Mambu Island and observation decks located in the Phi Phi Mountains. Especially popular with tourists are boat trips around the island, which bring not only a lot of positive emotions and delight, but also a baggage of knowledge.<\/p>\n

This place is adored by Hollywood directors, who often shoot their world cinema hits here, in part<\/a>icular, it was there that the film “The Beach” was shot, in which the main role was played by the favorite of women, Leonardo DiCaprio.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On one of the islands of Phi Phi, they hunt for swallow nests, the soup of which is known to be a local delicacy.<\/p>\n

On Phi Phi, you can go diving and snorkeling, admire coral, try rock climbing, swim on a kayak around the island or have fun on Monkey Beach, where insolent monkeys willingly flirt with tourists.<\/p>\n

After the beach, I recommend touching the history<\/a> and visiting the Viking Cave, on the walls of which there are rock paintings of ancient warriors and their ships.<\/p>\n

Koh Phangan<\/strong><\/p>\n

The beaches stretching for hundreds of meters allow you to retire at any time, being alone with the beauty of nature.
\nParticular attention should be paid to Thong Nai Pai Yai beach. In addition to the fact that it is the largest and there are various entertainment<\/a>s on it, there are also small mountains from which water flows in a violent cascade, forming a kind of waterfall.
\nGoing on vacation to Thailand, it will not be superfluous to also learn about other beaches in Phangan, including Haad Rin Nok and Haad Yao.
\nThe first is distinguished by a winding coastline, which makes the beach look like a small and very cozy bay. There are many bars, restaurants and nightclubs all along the coast. Almost all of them work all night until the morning, so fans of dancing and fun will not be bored.
\nAs for the second beach – Haad Yao, it is always green and blooming, because there is a huge number of different flowers, coconut trees and other greenery. This corner can be called paradise, a cradle in which it is pleasant to be at any time of the year, swinging in a hammock and enjoying the taste of coconut milk or another drink from the local bar.<\/p>\n

This island can be called the “assemblage point” of active partying youth from all over the world. It is remote from the mainland, not crowded and small, but the nightlife is literally in full swing here: and all the conditions have been created for this.<\/p>\n

\"Phi<\/a><\/p>\n

After all, it is on the island of Phangan that the world-famous Full Moon Party<\/strong> is held every month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a grandiose get-together, which attracts more than 30,000 people from all over the world.<\/p>\n

An interesting<\/a> detail: the party officially lasts one day, more precisely, it takes place on a full moon night, but the cheerful party-goers start walking<\/a> three days before it starts, and end in exhaustion – three days after the end.<\/p>\n

Does it remind you of anything? Sounds like our country wedding, doesn't it?<\/p>\n

Also, in their free time, in addition to discos and beach recreation, everyone has the opportunity to get acquainted with local attractions<\/a>. Tourists are attracted by several beautiful bays. Among them are Pan Noi and Tong Nai Pai Yai. These are bays, and they are practically the same, forming a double bay. The place is very beautiful and a bit wild. Considering that there are mountains around that hide bays, it is difficult to get to these parts. In order to see the beauty, you need to walk the only path through the jungle. But tourists assure that it is worth it, and such a vacation will never be forgotten.<\/p>\n

The bay is especially popular with divers who celebrate the extraordinary beauty of the water world.
\nThose who wish to touch the history<\/a> of the island have the opportunity to visit the ancient Chinese monastery in the village of Chaloklum. Near this place there is another equally amazing attraction – an old temple<\/a>, where you can even see a couple of unique Buddhist statue<\/a>s. By the way, there are enough temples in the local area, so if you wish, you can visit all of them.
\nTours<\/a> to Thailand are a huge portion of great mood and real rest. There are very clean water, wild beaches, healthy air, which you can literally “eat with spoons”, the richest underwater world. Diving and snorkeling are at a premium here.
