Among them there are those that attract visitors with their unique<\/a> atmosphere, shrouded in mysteries and rumors. These are the places we are talking about now.<\/p>\n

Catacombs of Paris<\/a><\/h2>\n

For many people, Paris is associated only with pleasant and majestic things. This is a city<\/a> that is saturated with romance and beauty, and its Eiffel Tower<\/a> attracts tour<\/a>ists from all over the world<\/a>. However, few people know that among the sights<\/a> of Paris there is one more place that does not fit in with the reputation of the city<\/a> of love. And this is his Catacombs.<\/p>\n

The catacombs of Paris are a complex system of ancient tunnels, the length of which reaches 300 kilometers. Formerly ordinary quarries, the tunnels are huge labyrinths that are more than three hundred years old. Over the years, the catacombs were used in different ways, but in 1786 the Ossuary was founded here. Wide corridors hundreds of meters long, the walls of which are covered with the remains of people.
