The Nemo Museum is a major science museum in Amsterdam<\/a>. Opened in 1997. Next to it is the Maritime Museum and the Central Station, which, by the way, is very convenient. We will tell you about the exposition, what to see<\/a> on each floor, how to<\/a> get there<\/a>, how much the ticket costs and what hours you can get to the NEMO Museum.<\/p>\n

The Nemo Museum looks very similar to a huge green ship, to which two small bridge<\/a>s with railings lead.<\/p>\n

Upon entering the lobby, you can immediately see<\/a> a cafe and a souvenir shop that sells an incredible number of scale models of some of the museum's attractions<\/a>, including a copy of a giant set of dominoes and DNA.<\/p>\n

The museum has 5 floors, each of them has a specific theme.<\/p>\n

As for the first floor, its main theme is DNA and chain reactions, as well as everything connected with them. There are many items with intricate design<\/a>s, including the presence of incredibly large dominoes, a large bell and a flying car<\/a>. In addition, a 30-minute show is held on the ground floor, which demonstrates a long chain reaction.<\/p>\n

Second floor<\/h3>\n

The second floor has a ball factory. They enter the conveyor belt – small plastic balls that the part<\/a>icipants of this show need to sort – balls of the same size are deposited in one direction, the same color in the other, and the same weight in the third. Later, they are sent to where their packaging takes place, after which they are placed in small iron boxes.<\/p>\n

Also on the territory of the second floor there is Nemo Cafe, a showroom where many scientific events are held and films are shown. In addition, here you can visit many exhibitions – the water cycle, electricity<\/a>, metals, buildings and much more.<\/p>\n

Third floor<\/h3>\n

There is a huge science laboratory on the third floor. There, visitors are given the opportunity to conduct scientific experiments, including testing vitamin C in a certain number of substances, as well as viewing DNA.<\/p>\n

If we talk about the fourth floor, then here you can attend a lecture that is dedicated to the human brain. They can also test your memory, evaluate the work of the brain and your feelings. The lighting on the fourth floor is rather poor, which makes it even more mysterious and interest<\/a>ing.<\/p>\n

Well, the last, fifth floor, on the territory of which there is also another cafe, a playground for children<\/a> with a playroom, and a playground where you can see a lot of the surroundings of the city<\/a> at a glance.<\/p>\n

In the Nemo Museum, everyone can try a lot of experiments with water, build a dam, or even a turbine! Everyone who has a lot of questions can get a huge number of fascinating and truthful answers here. Younger children<\/a>, from 4 to 8 years old, can visit a special section where they will be offered many different costumes and the opportunity to change into them, and, of course, see themselves on TV, build a house or participate in experiments with light or sound!<\/p>\n

The expositions of the Nemo Museum are dedicated to science, technology, technology and the arts, manifestations of human creativity. You can get to Amsterdam by plane from anywhere in the world, or take a train<\/a> in Europe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When you get to Amsterdam, you can take a taxi from the airport<\/a> or use public transport<\/a>. If you arrived by train, then the Nemo Museum is within easy reach from the railway station – exit the station building and head left towards the city center<\/a>. With a leisurely step, you will reach your destination in just a quarter of an hour.<\/p>\n
