In each country it is called differently, but this does not change its essence. This kind and cheerful old man will hear every child and bring him exactly the gift that the baby dreams of with all his heart. And to make it easier for Santa Claus, the guys write letters to him and send them to Lapland, where he lives with his wife and hardworking elves. The Finns, respecting the desire of this great woman, decided to give her a gift and built a hut. In it, Santa met the widow of the Pre<a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/antalya-or-side-where-is-it-better-to-relax-in-2021\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">side<\/a>nt of the United States. Soon <a href=\"\/recomendet-getyourguide_com-product\" class=\"sds-arl\">tour<\/a>ists began to come to this place, wanting to verify the existence of this wizard with a beard, <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/travel-to-china-on-your-own-2021-china-itinerary-for-9-days\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">travel<\/a>ing around the <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/the-most-unusual-places-to-stay-around-the-world\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">world<\/a> on a reindeer team. The number of visitors increased and soon the small settlement turned into an <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/holidays-in-alanya-with-children-2021-the-best-hotels-and-beaches-entertainment-reviews\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">entertainment<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/attractions-in-the-center-of-stockholm-14-interesting-places-photo-description\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">center<\/a> that is open all year round.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Village infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f33b36e.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f33b36e.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Finns claim that Santa Claus himself (Joulupukki) lives with his wife Muori in a small house on the Korvatunturi fell, located at a distance of 170 kilometers from Rovaniemi. Since it is impossible for a simple person to <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/hanauma-bay-hawaiian-beach-in-the-volcano-crater-photo-description-how-to-get-there-map\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">get there<\/a>, Santa arrives on reindeer at his residence so that everyone can talk to him.<\/p>\n<p>In the village of Santa Claus there are such facilities as:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Village visit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f4a6179.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f4a6179.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The village is open to visitors from nine in the morning to eight in the evening, and in summer it can be visited from eight in the morning to eight in the evening. Entrance here is free, but you should immediately warn that <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/on-your-own-in-thailand-route-photo-description-prices-2021-reviews-map\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">photo<\/a>graphy and <a href=\"\/recomendet-appsumo\" class=\"sds-arl\">video<\/a> filming is prohibited on the territory. Only gnomes can take pictures here. The <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/what-to-see-in-the-czech-republic-except-for-prague-14-best-places-photo-description-map\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">photo<\/a> with Santa Claus will be ready in three minutes, and its cost will be 17 euros.<\/p>\n<p>The Wizard receives guests in his office every day from 9.00 to 17.00, except for two hours of breaks from 11.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 16.00.<\/p>\n<p>On <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/alushta-in-december-2021-what-to-see-holidays-weather-reviews-prices\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">December<\/a> 31, it works with a single break starting at 11.00 and ending at 12.00.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f611cf2.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f611cf2.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But on the first of January, his working day begins at noon and ends at seven o'clock in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/rest-in-lazarevsky-2021\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">rest<\/a> of the time Santa Claus devotes to parsing letters that come from <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/switzerland-with-children-how-to-get-there-what-to-see-where-to-stay-prices-2021\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">children<\/a> from all over the world. You can buy a post<a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/how-to-get-from-amsterdam-to-bruges-car-train-bus-tour-how-much-does-it-cost\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">car<\/a>d in it, write a congratulatory message on it to your loved ones and send it. The elves will put the <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/where-to-relax-in-turkey-in-may-2021-at-sea-9-best-resorts\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">sea<\/a>l of Santa's office on the message, and if necessary, translate it into one of eleven languages.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f77bab4.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f77bab4.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the workshop, everyone can buy <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/what-to-bring-from-egypt-as-a-gift-20-best-souvenirs\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">souvenirs<\/a>, which the gnomes will send to the specified <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/national-theater-in-prague-address-photo-opening-hours-how-to-get-there-map\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">address<\/a> at the appointed time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Landmarks and rituals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whatever attraction the guests of the village decide to visit, no one will be able to pass by a round platform with a white <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/magic-cities-built-on-the-edge-of-cliffs\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">magic<\/a> line. The line with the inscription Arctic circle marks the beginning of the border of the Arctic Circle. That is, by jumping over it, you can magically find yourself in the Arctic. Having made such a &#8220;great movement&#8221;, the participants in the ritual receive a special commemorative certificate.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f8eac1e.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320f8eac1e.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Near the square there is a pillar, on which there are direction signs to the largest <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/where-can-you-fly-cheap-from-bangkok-9-cities-route-photo-description-map\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">cities<\/a> in the world with distances indicated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arctic Winter World<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This complex operates from December to April, that is, at the time when snowdrifts lie in Lapland. In the summer, it simply melts, and the next year it is rebuilt. Entrance to the park is paid.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320fa6f90f.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320fa6f90f.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is an ice <a href=\"\/recomendet-trip_com-product\" class=\"sds-arl\">hotel<\/a> where you can even stay overnight. The temperature in it is from two to three degrees below zero, and all the furniture is carved from huge blocks of ice. Therefore, in order to warm up, it is worth visiting the ice bar, where adult visitors are offered strong drinks. But you can have a hearty meal in the cafeterias located in the park.<\/p>\n<p><strong>deer farm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320fbe8e04.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320fbe8e04.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/where-can-you-see-the-northern-lights\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">see<\/a> how the deer graze on which Santa Claus rides can be seen at the deer farm. Also, each visitor has the opportunity to ride a sleigh pulled by these cute animals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Santa Claus Park<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/bregenz-forest-entertainment-attractions\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">entertainment<\/a> complex opens its gates before <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/christmas-in-europe-2021\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">Christmas<\/a> and the joyful holiday of Juhannus, celebrated in <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/sights-of-finland-photo-with-names-and-description-map\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">Finland<\/a> in the summer. Throughout the park you can <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/10-films-to-watch-before-traveling-to-europe\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">travel<\/a> on a small <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/how-to-get-from-malpensa-airport-to-milan-2021-train-bus-taxi\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">train<\/a> called &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/liner-quantum-of-the-seas\/\" class=\"sds-arl\">Seas<\/a>ons&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320fd81974.avif\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/post-434774-619320fd81974.avif\" alt=\"Santa Claus Village in Finland\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Children will be delighted with the Elf Cave, located in the dungeon of a large rock. In addition to entertainment, here you can still visit the school of elves, take a course in magical sciences and get a diploma.
