A striking testimony to the reign of Victoria and Albert is the museum, which was opened in 1852 at the initiative of the royal couple after the triumphant success of the World<\/a> Exhibition in London<\/a>, held in 1851. The proceeds from the exhibition were part<\/a>ially used in the design of the “Museum of products”, as it was originally called. Today it is known as the Albert Hall.<\/p>\n

One of the most famous women in the UK, Queen Victoria ruled the country for 63 years, strengthening international ties through the family ties of her nine children<\/a>, for which she received the nickname “Grandmother of Europe<\/a>“. The Victorian era was the time of the greatest cultural, industrial, scientific and military development<\/a> of Great Britain. The people adored their queen, conside<\/a>ring her a model of high morality and strict morality, incorruptible honesty and fair objectivity.<\/p>\n

Victoria was a happy wife and mother, she lived with her husband Albert Gotsky for more than 20 years and after his death she went into deep mourning for a long time, leaving bus<\/a>iness. Later, the museum was given the name “Museum of Decorative Arts”, and Albert began to actively buy the best objects of decorative art, resulting in a large collection of exhibits. Outwardly, the Albert Hall is always beautiful: in cloudy weather<\/a>, its warm colors delight the eye; evening lighting creates the effect of gilded walls; the bright sunbeams make it look like a precious treasure chest.<\/p>\n

Coming closer to it, you can see<\/a> on the walls a mosaic panel depicting figures-allegories in the form of women in ancient robes: Astronomy, History<\/a>, Sculpture, Painting, Music under the general name “Triumph of Science and Art”. The tiers of the auditorium and the ceiling, decorated with round lamps that change the shades of illumination from bright blue to purple-red, amaze with their incredible beauty and originality of design. The lighting of the hall is a real firework of colors that turns the hall into a magic<\/a>al Chinese lantern.<\/p>\n

Now this magnificent gift<\/a> of Queen Victoria to London serves as a center of musical and song art, a venue for world-class celebrations. Especially for the organization of concerts, the roof was changed, the hall was partially rebuilt to improve the acoustics (now it is impeccable).<\/p>\n

In the early years of the hall's operation as a concert hall, classical performances by opera singers, symphony orchestras, famous violinists and pianists were practiced.
