All the planted flora was built in perfect lines, forming perfect geometric shapes. Green lawns are framed by impeccably straight rows of hedgerows and filigree trimmed chestnuts. The flowerbeds are designed in accordance with the overall design of the garden, and the alleys are decorated with beautiful sculptures.<\/p>\n

Place de la Concorde<\/h2>\n

Today, this square is considered one of the most delightful squares in the capital of France<\/a>. Its center<\/a> is adorned with the Luxor Obelisk, given to the French in 1829 by the Viceroy of Egypt<\/a>. The relic was brought from the temple of Amun-Ra itself and, given that it is approximately 3600 years old, is the oldest monument in Paris<\/a>. Its length is 23 meters, and the weight of the obelisk is as much as 230 tons. The pillar is made of pink granite and filled with carved inscriptions praising the pharaohs.<\/p>\n

Today, in addition to the architecture of the Grand Palace itself, there is an opportunity to admire the expositions of the Art Gallery, which manages an entire wing on its territory. Here, in another wing, there is the Museum “Palace of Discoveries”, which is dedicated to the most important achievements of mankind. In addition, the Grand Palais often hosts shows of famous fashion houses, festivals, various exhibitions and much more.<\/p>\n

Pont Alexandre III<\/h2>\n

The bridge<\/a> stretches over the Seine, connecting the Champs Elysees and the Invalides. It was presented to Paris in 1896 by Emperor Nicholas II of Russia, and represents the union between the Russian state and France. And he got his name from the name of the father of the emperor. One edge of the bridge is guarded by the nymph of the Seine, and the opposite one is guarded by the nymph of the Neva, next to which is the coat of arms of St. Petersburg<\/a>.
