Today we will tell you about the biography of this unique personality, what suffering she went through and how she discovered a gift in herself, how she found love and almost paid for her passion. At the age of 6, the girl was stricken with polio, which made her “lame-footed”, and at 17 she had to ride a bus<\/a> that collided with a tram. The injuries received by the girl in this accident did not give her a chance to survive: numerous fractures of the ribs, spine, collarbone, legs (in 11 places<\/a>!), Stomach puncture – is this compatible with life?! But, apparently, God's providence allowed the unfortunate woman to survive in order to later become an inflexible symbol of Mexico and a brilliant artistic creator, whose canvases shock everyone with their pictorial power.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

A year of torment and struggle for survival turned a fragile, tormented girl into a steadfast tin soldier, and some kind of insight from above awakened in her the talent of an artist. While still bedridden, she felt a desire to pick up a brush and paints, which her parents, at her request, brought to the hospital ward. To make it more convenient for her to draw, her father design<\/a>ed a kind of easel for her beloved daughter, which allowed her to paint while lying down. In the mirror hung over the bed, Frida saw her reflection, and self-portraits became the first and favorite objects of the image in the future.<\/p>\n

By chance, Frida met the theoretician of the world<\/a> revolution – Leon Trotsky. Being kindred souls to some extent, they flared up with passion for each other, but the stormy feeling did not last long: reason took over, and the love affair ended. The world did not immediately appreciate the artistic masterpieces of a talented Mexican woman with an unusual fate: only in 1939, 14 years after the start of her creative biography, Frida's paintings shocked visitors to the Mexican art exhibition organized in Paris<\/a>. One of her works was honored to be placed in the Louvre.<\/p>\n

The last years of her short life, the artist did not get up from the bed on which she was brought to the first author's solo exhibition. But among her paintings there are truly life-affirming, bright canvases of a full-fledged woman, capable of deeply and passionately loving, enjoying every day, breathing deeply. The painting “Portrait of Do\u00f1a Rosita Morillo” is one of the best works, according to Frida herself, full of peace of mind and peace. Some self-portraits evoke admiration for the beauty and spiritual optimism expressed in the beautiful eyes of Frida.<\/p>\n
