The proximity of the border post at the Turkish border is reminded by the constant accumulation of a large number of trucks, the exhaust of whose engines can be felt on the beach. Despite various shortcomings, local prices<\/a> for accommodation in Sarpi hotels may be higher than in Batumi itself.<\/p>\n

Mahindjauri<\/h2>\n

The former urban-type settlement in 2013 entered the city limits of Batumi and became its separate district. The resort town suffers from a drawback typical of the Georgian coast – this is the separation of the beach from the residential area by a railway line. To the annoyance of vacationers, to get to the sea, you have to step over the railway track.<\/p>\n

The village has several working cafes, a pharmacy, a mini market where you can buy fruits<\/a>, vegetables and local wine. The rest of the products are purchased by going to the central market of Batumi. The lack of infrastructure is offset by low housing prices<\/a>.<\/p>\n
