The &#8220;Bombed Church&#8221; represents the remains of a temple destroyed by the Germans during the Second World War in the &#8220;May Blitz&#8221;. In the late 1860s, Chinese migrants first arrived in the city as a result of a program to employ Chinese sailors on the Blue Funnel shipping line, which firmly linked Shanghai, <a href=\"https:\/\/tourism.com.de\/en\/hong-kong-top-15-places-and-entertainment-for-an-unforgettable-vacation\/\" title=\"Hong Kong\">Hong Kong<\/a> and Liverpool.
