November in Estonia brings not only dark polar nights and winter frosts. For the 27th time, the international A-class film festival P\u00d6FF will be held in Tallinn and Tartu.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that out of approximately<\/a> 4,000 film festivals held around the world, only 15 have been awarded a class A certificate from the International Federation of Film Producers Associations. The presence of such a mark puts P\u00d6FF on a par with such famous festivals as Cannes, Berlin<\/a> and Venice.<\/p>\n This year, guests can expect 13 world premieres, which will be presented personally by both local directors and other professionals from European countries, as well as Japan, Canada, the USA<\/a>, India, South Korea and Mexico. 20 films will compete for the grand prize, awarded by the city of Tallinn in the amount of 20,000 euros. The full festival program will be published on October 27th.<\/p>\n Last year, as part of the cooperation “Dark Nights” and the international film festival of Nordic and Baltic films “Paunochnae zzyanne” showed the Estonian public two films by talented directors: “Mara” from Sasha Kulak and “When the Flowers Are Not Silent” from Andrei Kutilo.
