It is impossible to imagine a modern person without a telephone – we communicate, find out news, buy and sell goods. Meanwhile, frequent exposure to digital stimuli impairs our ability to concentrate and think deeply. But the days of ” digital detoxification,” on the contrary, enhance the feeling of connection and presence. Why not an idea for a startup? It seems that this is exactly what the employees of a Finnish national park thought, where tourists<\/a> are asked to turn off their phones during their stay.<\/p>\n

Ulko-Tammio has already been called the first detox place in Europe. This small island is located in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland and is part of the national park. It can only be reached by water – on a private boat or on sea cruises organized by travel companies. By the way, in the world of tourism, where free Wi-Fi has become not just everyday life, but something taken for granted, where you can control the lighting and temperature in your room using mobile applications, vacation without technology has already turned out to be a full-fledged segment of the travel market. Even entire hotels<\/a> have connected to the telephone company.<\/p>\n
