“The Crown” is a series watched by the British royal family<\/a>! He conquered many hearts around the world and helped to get to know the great dynasty better.<\/p>\n

Hatfield House, Hertfordshire<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This place is important for the royal family: it was where Elizabeth II grew up. Then she learned that she would take the throne. However, not only the series “The Crown” was filmed here, but also such films as “The King\u2019s Speech” and “Sleepy Hollow”. Hatfield House was used instead of Marlborough House, the residence of Elizabeth's grandmother, Queen Mary.<\/p>\n

The episode with the wedding of young Elizabeth and Prince Philip was filmed here. Because they couldn't do it in Westminster Abbey. The film crew tried to recreate everything down to the smallest detail, as it really was more than 68 years ago. And in addition to “The Crown,” the historical drama “The King\u2019s Speech” was also filmed here.<\/p>\n
