Airports of Turkey

Turkey now (and earlier) is one of the most demanded countries with high-quality and relatively inexpensive resorts.
Plane is the main and most convenient way to get to Turkey.

Most of the flights arrive in Istanbul, or rather at Ataturk Airport. The airport, “Sabiha Gechken”, is already located on the Asian side, usually receives flights from “low-cost” airlines.

There are more than 30 airports in Turkey, they operate various flights in Turkey, both local and international flights. Istanbul's Ataturk airport takes on the largest air traffic load compared to others. The next major Istanbul airport, the second in importance is Sabiha Gokcen, it is mainly engaged in servicing only domestic, low-cost and charter flights. Not far from the airport in Antalya there are such nearest resorts as located 55 km away. – Side and Kemer, located 33 km. Belek, etc. The second largest and most important after the International Terminal “Ataturk” in Istanbul is the International Terminal of the airport Ay Terminal 2.

Main airports in Turkey:

– Antalya Airport (AYT)
Located at a distance of 15 km from Antalya. Close to it are such resorts as Side (55 km), Kemer (50 km), Belek (33 km), Isekurn (105 km), Alanya (120 km).

– Dalaman Airport (DLM)
Located 6 km south of the city of the same name. The nearest resorts are located near the airport: Fethiye (60 km), Marmaris (100 km).

– Adnan Menderes (ADB)
Distance to Izmir approximately 24 km. It is from this airport that it is easiest to find yourself in the major tourist regions located on the Aegean Sea in the western part of Turkey.

– Bodrum Airport (BJV)
Located between Gulluk and Bodrum.

Distance to the center of Istanbul is about 24 km.
