Location

Riti Ra Island is one of the largest islands in the North Male Atoll in the Indian Ocean. There are two ways to get there from Velana International Airport. The first one is 50 minutes on a yacht or speedboat. The second one takes 20 minutes on a guide plane.

Housing

There are 122 guest villas built on the island. Some are located on a snow-white beach, some are right above the turquoise lagoon. They are decorated in traditional Maldivian style and fit perfectly into the tropical landscapes.

Houses on land have their own stretch of coastline and are surrounded by tropical gardens. And the houses above the water are equipped with a personal descent into the ocean and are connected by wooden walkways on stilts. They offer picturesque views of the horizon. Entertainment

The secluded island with six kilometers of picturesque coastline is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The Splash Water Sports Center offers free kayaking, SUP and snorkeling at one of the resort's 12 beaches.

For the most daring, a unique seaplane excursion is available. A trip on a jet ski, underwater scooter or catamaran, water parasailing or wakeboarding will also give you vivid impressions. And children will enjoy riding a banana.

Want to better explore the ocean? While diving, easily immerse yourself in the unique world of coral reefs, home to turtles, rays and sharks. And you can admire the dolphins on an individual cruise on a private yacht, speedboat or traditional sailing boat. Or go fishing in the open ocean. In local waters you can catch tuna or sailfish.

The island itself also offers plenty of great outdoor activities. The Club One beach club has excellent conditions for playing paddle tennis, tennis, beach volleyball, petanque and football. An outdoor climbing wall is also available.

After an active holiday, you should stop by the SPA center and rejuvenate in the hydromassage pool, steam room or sauna. Here you can enjoy spa rituals for face and body. Particular attention is paid to environmental initiatives on the island. The resort is committed to minimizing its environmental impact, and guests can join a variety of programs. One of them is the restoration of coral reefs near the coast. Fragments of corals are transplanted to free places to form new colonies. You can watch how they take root and become part of the underwater world while snorkeling with an experienced specialist. 

Another direction is saving sea turtles. There is a rehabilitation center on the territory of the resort. It studies their population and takes care of affected individuals. Staff give tours to guests and talk about preserving the species.

Nutrition

There are eight restaurants and bars for guests on the island, where you can try dishes from different cuisines of the world. So, in “Reethi” they offer breakfast during the day on the veranda overlooking the ocean, and in the evenings they offer the best Asian, European and Italian dinners. The ecological restaurant “Botanica” is ideal for a romantic evening. The tables here are located right under the treetops in a secluded garden.

Modern Japanese cuisine is worth trying at Hoshi, and real Italian pizza at Rabarbaro. For an evening in the company of friends, the restaurant or bar attached to it “Fanditha” is suitable, where guests are offered to plunge into the atmosphere of the East. For fun dancing and heady cocktails, come to the bar with a swimming pool “Rah”. And dinner with the best view of the ocean is offered by the restaurant at the Club One beach club. Here you can enjoy dinner without leaving your sun lounger.

A night at the One & Only Reethi Rah villa for one person will cost between $2,000 and $4,000. The cost depends on the type of house chosen. The cheapest accommodation is in a beach villa, the most expensive is in a house on the water with a pool.
