✈️ Secrets to choosing the best seats on the plane

18

Absolutely everyone knows that the best seats in economy class are the rows near the emergency exit. There's a great bonus there – extra legroom. Plus, emergency exits are often located above the wings, which means that turbulence there is not as bad as in other parts of the plane.

However, there are categories of people who cannot take advantage of the privilege of sitting in special seats. And this is not a disc rim innovation. There are fairly strict rules about who can and cannot occupy emergency exit seats. They were developed by the Civil Aviation Authority – and there are no exceptions. Safety is the top priority here.

Where are the best seats on the plane and who can occupy them?

In the event of an emergency, the emergency exit will need to be opened and then the aircraft evacuated. Passengers who are sitting in the “bonus” row will have to help the flight attendants in this matter. At a minimum, react quickly and follow the necessary recommendations.

So, who definitely should not sit at the emergency exit of the plane:

  1. People with disabilities or mental health problems;
  2. Passengers with severe hearing and vision impairments;
  3. Elderly and people of unsuitable physical size;
  4. Children of any age, even with accompanying persons;
  5. People traveling with animals.

If any of the passengers belonging to the above categories wants to get more comfortable, they will have to pay and go to another class or take the maximum from the seats provided. These are the rules and they are there to keep everyone as safe as possible.
