Vinnitsa fountain “Roshen” as an alternative to the Dubai show
In 2009, a unique fountain was launched in Dubai, which is currently the most expensive and largest fountain in the world. This fountain is called dancing or musical. It is located in an artificial lake. The Dubai Fountain raises water to the level of the 50th floor (150 meters). This miracle is equipped with a large number of colored spotlights. All this turns the work of the fountain into a real extravaganza. In 2010, a new element was added to the structure of this structure – a fire that illuminates jets of water. So now the Dubai fountain has almost a twin brother. It is located in Ukraine, in the city of Vinnitsa, where the famous Roshen factory is located.
The opening of this fountain took place in September 2011. The Petro Poroshenko Foundation took upon itself the implementation of the idea of creating a floating fountain in this city on the Southern Bug River and the reconstruction of the embankment. The fountain was named “Roshen”.
The design of the Vinnytsia fountain today is the largest in Europe among the floating fountains. “Winter technology” makes it possible to immerse the structure under the ice in winter. The Roshen fountain is the only one of its kind in Ukraine. Its scope is really impressive: it lifts water jets to a height of 60 meters, and its frontal spread is 140 meters.
After the opening of the Roshen fountain in Vinnytsia, the city became more attractive in terms of tourism. Many organizers of excursion tours around Ukraine have included his visit to their itineraries.
