Dzykhrinskoe gorge

Located 15 kilometers from the city on the way to Krasnaya Polyana. Tourists will appreciate this picturesque valley of the Dzykhrinka river, the waters of which literally cut a narrow and deep channel in the rock.

Sheer and smoothly hewn rocks rise up to 100 meters in a wall. The canyon is one of the highest in the Caucasus. The width of the winding gorge does not exceed 10 meters. The stream, flowing down piled up boulders, forms a cascade of small waterfalls.

The main feature of the landscape is the extremely diverse flora. The slopes of the Dzykhrinsky gorge are densely overgrown with forests. The upper part of the canyon abounds with broad-leaved trees. There are many oaks, elms, ash and dogwood.

At the bottom of the rock formation, constant shade and coolness create a special microclimate. You can see yew and boxwood groves with long vines and fluffy green mosses, as well as centuries-old thickets of beech.

Akhshtyrskaya cave

For many centuries, the waters of the Mzymta River have formed a half-kilometer cave in the mountains. A popular natural site is located at an altitude of 185 meters above sea level on the right side of the Akhshtyr Gorge. The cave consists of several spacious halls connected by a corridor.

Park named after Bestuzhev-Marlinsky

Ostrich farm “Three Sofia”

Near the Akhshtyrsky canyon there is a private farm “Three Sophia”, which has turned into a small zoo and performs an entertaining function. Keivu Waterfall

In 1967, the Estonian instructor of one of the Krasnaya Polyana camp sites E.Ya. Keivu discovered a waterfall in the middle of the forest. This is one of the few waterfalls that pleases with a full-flowing cascading plume at any time of the year. It never dries up or freezes.
