Museum of the History of the Airborne Forces
Dedicated to the “Winged Guard” and is located in the building of the former theological seminary. He began his work at the end of 1992 in the building of the restored estate of the famous engraver. The life of an amazing person who created the libretto for the famous ballet of the Mariinsky Theater La Bayadère (Roksolana, Vestalka, and other performances) is connected with the estate acquired in the ancient village of Erlino (it has been mentioned since 1646).
A versatile, outstanding personality (journalist, writer, plant connoisseur), belonging to an old family, was among the main landowners of the Ryazan lands. Love for nature, landscape design manifested itself in the creation of a unique park with rare trees, flowers, horticultural crops, a system of cascading ponds. Already in 1900 S.N. Khudekov receives for the estate-arboretum the gold medal of the famous World Exhibition of Paris, the Order of St. Anne of the degree in Russia.
