Weather in Vietnam in January – weather in the northern, southern and central regions of the country

As soon as the first snowflakes appear outside the windows of Russians, and the thermometer moves inexorably down, many people think about how to pass the winter days somewhere on the sunny coast of an exotic resort. Often the choice falls on Vietnam, which offers quite decent conditions for spending a winter vacation at a modest price. Let's figure out whether it is worth spending money on buying a ticket to an Asian country, and what the weather will be like in Vietnam in January.

We note right away that a good rest depends on which part of the country you decide to go to. Although in January a steady dry season is observed throughout the territory, in some regions the air temperature will not be conducive to a good rest. Northern regions

Central part of the country

In the central regions of Vietnam (Danang, Hoi An), this month, the transition from a wet period to a dry one is just completed. The average thermometer readings range from 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, and sufficiently warm sea water lures bathing enthusiasts into their possessions.

Southern resorts

But in the southern part of the country all conditions for a good rest are created. Precipitation here is very rare, and the air warms up to a very comfortable temperature, allowing you to combine swimming, sunbathing and tourist excursions. Take at least Nha Trang, which our compatriots love to indulge so much with their attention. The air temperature in the daytime and in the dark is practically the same, but occasionally a short rain can spoil the reputation of the resort. Storms are also a big rarity during this period.

It will be even warmer in Phan Thiet and Mui Ne, where the air warms up a couple of degrees of heat more. It is the local coasts that can give you that beach holiday that you have been dreaming about! We also advise you to pay attention to the nearby island of Phu Quoc, which in January is simply teeming with tourists tired of long winter evenings.

As you can see, the weather in Vietnam in January is quite conducive to a great vacation. Depending on the region, tourists can choose between the dry and warm south and the cool, but no less attractive resorts of the north.
