🎢 Jumanji: the UK’s first theme park
The first Jumanji theme park has opened in the UK. It is located within the World of Adventure resort in Chessington. The park's goal is to “immerse you in the adventurous, action-packed stories of the Jumanji films.”
Visitors are invited to follow in the footsteps of the heroes of the film version. This means you will have to find a gem – the eye of a jaguar – to lift the curse and save Jumanji. To enter the park, visitors will have to pass through an ominous and overgrown jungle, where they will then be greeted by the 16-meter-high “Temple of the Jaguar.”

The theme park features the world's only roller coaster, Jumanji. There are also two more attractions – “Mamba Strike” and “Ostrich Stampede”. They were developed based on the film franchise.
The Mandrill Mayhem roller coaster is made of 144 tons of steel tracks. They toss and turn visitors upside down at speeds of 68 km per hour. As they do so, they “dodge” the dangers of the jungle and spin in a spiral, rising to the top of the Temple of the Jaguar.
While riding the Mamba Strike, visitors will “dodge the fangs” of a black mamba snake as it ascends and descends. And in “The Ostrich Stampede,” park guests will have to “lead a herd of ostriches in a whirlwind in the dunes.”
There is a hotel on the territory of the park. Visitors are offered to spend the night in a themed room. Accommodation will cost $133 per night. You will have to pay $68 for a ticket, but if purchased online it will cost $34. Find more details on the park's website.
