Liner Quantum of the seas
Amazing landscapes, the endless sea outside the window, the opportunity to see several cities without wasting time unpacking, entertainment that you don't have to pay for, and comfort corresponding to the level of the best hotels – these are far from all the advantages of a sea voyage on the Quantum of the seas liner. The creator of this miracle of engineering did his best: reality is so skillfully replaced by virtuality that you have to remind yourself where you really are. In addition, the prices for cruises correspond to the price-quality ratio.
About the liner
The Quantum of the seas liner, owned by Royal Caribbean International, was put into operation quite recently in 2014. The first of 3 representatives of the Quantum class embodied the achievements of innovative technology. Comfort and luxury of the interior, ergonomically arranged interior space, the latest technologies – everything for the convenience of vacationers.
The length of the 18-deck liner is almost 348 m, which is slightly more than the height of the Eiffel Tower and slightly less than the Empire State Building. This territory accommodates 2090 cabins, i.e. the liner is able to take 4180 passengers. In addition, it contains areas for recreation, sports and entertainment.
Entertainment
No one will be bored on board the Quantum of the seas. Those who have chosen a sea cruise for relaxation will appreciate the spa areas, solariums and a swimming pool, the glass dome over the latter allows you not to depend on the weather. Adherents of outdoor activities will choose an activity to their liking: running on a special track, fitness in a club, surfing on a simulator, climbing on a climbing wall, soaring in a wind tunnel or visiting a water park.
Visiting Broadway shows at the main theater of the ship can be a gift for theatergoers. An alternative to it is the music hall, where a variety of master classes and entertainment events take place. Liners of this level suggest a luxury vacation, so tourists can tickle their nerves, risking their well-being, in a casino and a card room.
virtual balcony
The ship surprises with a unique system called “Virtual Balcony”. It offers a sea view in every cabin. If in the outer cabins it is natural, then in the inner cabins it is simulated by a huge screen, where the surrounding landscape is transmitted online.
Nord star – survey capsule
An even greater view of the surroundings and the vessel is available due to the glass walls of the observation capsule, which is fixed above the upper deck, at a distance of 90 m from the sea surface. The 360° panorama in the Nord star is provided by the movement of a long arrow, at the end of which the capsule is fixed, and the simultaneous rotation around its axis.
Seaplex – entertainment center
The sports and entertainment zone, which can completely change its purpose in a short time, invariably attracts the attention of vacationers. Here you can go rollerblading or go-karts, play basketball or ping-pong, etc. The Seaplex outdoor area offers more active recreation: a wind tunnel (iFly), a surfing simulator (FlowRider) and a climbing wall.
Panoramic winter garden Two70°
Two 70° is a multi-level lounge space that occupies the bow of the liner. The flowing glass structure with a dome creates a 270° panorama. At lunchtime, the winter garden is visited by lovers of water procedures, who have appreciated the system of pools and jacuzzi, and just relaxing to admire the views. In the evening, the garden turns into an unusual stage against the backdrop of video installations created by 18 projectors. The stage is used for theatrical productions, bright shows.
The Time Dining – free food system
There is an innovation on board the liner – My Time Dining. This is a special all-inclusive food system, which implies the freedom to choose a restaurant, time to visit it and dishes. The system includes 4 main restaurants that differ in culinary concept and interior. For the convenience of vacationers, the Cruise Planner application has been created, which allows you to create your own meal schedule. However, it should be borne in mind that for breakfast and lunch, the rule of free boarding applies, and for dinner – in shifts. NB: All inclusive does not include alcoholic drinks.
Restaurants
More than 14 restaurants, bistros and cafes are at the disposal of vacationers. The variety of presented gastronomy is able to satisfy the most demanding requests. Those who prefer traditional European cuisine should visit The Grand and Chic. An exclusive lunch served personally by the chef can be enjoyed in a small restaurant for 14 people. It is for so many people that Chef᾽s Table is designed. Another restaurant not for everyone is Coastal Kitchen, guests staying in suites are invited here. They offer fusion cuisine.
Dishes of exotic Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Chinese and other cuisines are served at Silk and Windjammer. For real pizza and other delicacies of the Italian tradition, you should go to Sorrento᾽s and Jamies Italian. Izumi Restaurant offers Japanese cuisine to its visitors. Favorite salads, steaks, sandwiches, french fries and other fast food are offered by American Icon Grill, Solarium Bistro, Johnny Rockets, The cafe @ Two 70°, SeaPlex®Dog House, Chops Grille.
