After swimming to your heart's content, spending several hours underwater, diving, and enjoying the breathtaking architecture of the Middle Ages, go to one of the cozy restaurants where the chef is already waiting for you. Here you will be “fed to your heart's content” with first-class seafood dishes, “irritating” your appetite with a glass of delicious wine. And all this for a fairly modest price.

Manarola, Italy

No less impressive picture is a town in northern Italy. Manarola is located on the edge of a sheer cliff above the waves of the Ligurian Sea running ashore. It is considered one of the oldest in Italy and is famous for its tradition that has taken root from antiquity to resolve all important issues in the central square.

In addition to the picturesque architecture, Manarola also boasts wonderful wine, the grapes for which are grown right on the mountainside. However, it is difficult to find a place in Italy that could not boast of its signature delicacies and first-class wine. Although, according to the indigenous people and surviving sources of information, it was the wine produced in these parts that was considered the best back in the days of the Roman Empire.

If you look from the height of the cliff, you will see a unique view of the sea and a small parking lot for boats. Every day, dozens of these boats go in search of the next portion of fresh seafood. By the way, there is no beach in the harbor of Manarola, although this does not bother diving enthusiasts who spend all day exploring crevices and underwater caves.

Ronda, Spain

Spain also has its rock settlements. A bright architectural monument, which is located right on the rocks, is the Andalusian city of Ronda. Just imagine, the average height at which the buildings are located is 760 meters! Ronda is divided into two parts by a huge gorge, across which three bridges are thrown. Local residents claim that it was in their settlement that the tradition of arranging a colorful show with bulls – bullfighting – was born. And to reinforce their arguments, they point to the oldest arena in the country. Therefore, you should not succumb to the deceptive charm of the local tranquility.

Walking along one of the bridges, you will not be able to restrain your delight from the dizzying heights, sharp stone ledges of the gorge and the Guadalevin River flowing somewhere below. For everyone, local guides will be happy to arrange an exciting trip to the gorge. But it is worth remembering that the ascent and descent will require from you a considerable supply of strength, endurance and at least basic training. And do not forget to stock up on water and provisions. Believe me, although the path is difficult, it will still give a lot of vivid impressions.

But going to Ronda for the whole vacation is clearly not worth it. Since this settlement is small and there are not so many entertainments in it. But you should definitely include a visit to this colorful point in a tour of Spain. And yet, once in the Andalusian settlement, be sure to visit the local museum of witches. The tour promises to be very exciting and useful.

Santorini, Greece

Although Santorini is a whole Greek island, we still cannot tell about the picturesque landmass. The island is known throughout the world for its unique, picturesque views, and each street of the building is generously flooded with Mediterranean sunshine. Perhaps the most spectacular part of this small piece of land is a place called Oia.

Firstly, Oia is located at the highest point of the island, so anyone who is lucky enough to buy a house here can enjoy stunning views of the Aegean Sea for hours on end.
