Qatar

Even among fans of holidays in the East, this country is not very well known, but Qatar definitely deserves attention. This small state, conveniently located in the Persian Gulf, is rich in unique attractions.

The capital of the country, Doha, is in no way inferior in grandeur and scope to Dubai. Shining skyscrapers, luxury hotels, huge shopping centers – there is all this in abundance. They are combined with traditional oriental architecture, creating a quaint image of the city. You should start getting acquainted with it from the Corniche embankment, which stretches along the Persian Gulf for seven kilometers. Another construction achievement is the artificial island of the Pearl of Qatar. In addition to hotels, shops and salons, you can visit, for example, a quarter created in the Venetian style.

The old city center contains attractions with a lot of history. The main one is the Souk Waqif market. Here you can not only experience the oriental flavor, buy unusual souvenirs, but also try local cuisine in authentic cafes. China 

China is truly exotic for many. There is unusual food, unique nature, ancient martial arts, and a completely incomprehensible language. The highlight of the island is its magnificent monuments and temples. Mauritius

This tiny island is lost in the southwestern Indian Ocean. Many hundreds of years ago it was a volcano, but now it is absolutely safe and very interesting. 

Plains with fertile soils are occupied by sugar cane plantations, and closer to the water there are Canary pines, coconut palms, and eucalyptus trees. Even the mangroves have been preserved. Hidden among the plants are amazing seven-colored sand dunes near the village of Chamarel. By the way, if you mix sand of different shades, then after a couple of hours the boundary between them will be restored.

The territory of Mauritius is divided by hundreds of rivers with rapids and waterfalls. The most famous is Tamaren, which has seven steps. But the most attractive things are the craters of extinct volcanoes and plateaus with bizarre mountain peaks.  

Until the 16th century, people did not live on the island, so the flora and fauna here are completely unique. Unfortunately, after the advent of civilization, many species disappeared, such as the famous Dodo bird – the Mauritius Dodo. However, the remaining ones can be found in the Black River Gorges National Park. And the small Krugly island reserve is home to rare reptiles: skinks, geckos and boa constrictors. 

If you appreciate architectural monuments, then pay attention to the northernmost point of the island – Cape Malheuret, on which Notre Dame -Oxillatris was built. There are also estates on the island in the spirit of colonial estates, and a museum in the building of a former sugar factory.

But the main thing is the beaches. In Mauritius they are snow-white and clean. And the shores are surrounded by coral reefs. For those who love active recreation, the north side is suitable. Yacht rental, sea sports, clubs and bars are developed here. Families will love the south of the island – these places have the smoothest descent into the water. Divers will appreciate the lagoons to the east. And lovers of wild beaches and nature reserves will find them in the western part.

Namibia

In this mysterious African country, two opposing elements meet: the ocean and the desert. However, do not think that bare sands or abandoned shores await you – the tourist service here is well developed. Upscale hotels to suit every taste can be found in the most famous resort areas.

The country got its name from the Namib Desert, which occupies a significant part of the territory. This unique site amazes with its pristine appearance and unique landscapes. The Namib, according to scientists, is the oldest desert on the planet and was formed during the period of dinosaurs – more than 80 million years ago. 

Thanks to such a long history, many unique species of plants and animals have arisen here, adapted to life in such hostile conditions. But, of course, the greatest impression is made by the giant sand dunes, which from a distance look like mountains of an unusual color. Another feature of the area is the mining of minerals, in particular diamonds. Tourists can even see this complex process with their own eyes in the city of Oranjemund.

For those who like to relax by the water, the coast of the Atlantic Ocean is suitable, where you can see seabirds, seals and even penguins, who, despite the prevailing heat, build their nests here. Swakopmund is considered the best resort. It used to be a German colony, which greatly affected the architecture of the city. The beaches are long and sandy, the waves are high and the water is cold. Not everyone can swim in them.

Even more diverse species of animals, birds and plants can be found in national parks, of which there are 20 in Namibia. The largest is Etosha National Park, which includes part of the Kalahari Desert with savannas. Elephants, rhinoceroses, zebras, giraffes, elands, lions, cheetahs and many other representatives of exotic fauna are found here.

But the most impressive thing is the Skeleton Coast – the most inaccessible beach on the planet. The length of the unique zone is about 500 km, and to get to it, you need to overcome part of the desert. The name is explained simply – due to fog, storms, boulders and the cold Bengal Current, many shipwrecks have happened here. It is easy to find sunken ships – their remains lie in the coastal zone, impressing with the size and scale of the disasters.

Malaysia 

This amazing state is located on a peninsula and several islands, between which lies the South China Sea. You should come here first of all for unusual and varied experiences. In the cities, modern skyscrapers are surrounded by tropical greenery, and adjacent to them are ancient temples and buildings from the colonial era. On the other hand, there are huge entertainment centers and recreation parks. All this can be found in the capital – Kuala Lumpur.

If you prefer a beach holiday, then numerous resorts are at your service. They are united by ideal conditions: clear water, white sand, colorful wildlife. But the most unusual place in Malaysia is the island of Langkawi. The largest city, Kuah, will captivate you with its atmosphere: shops of local craftsmen, a pier and a square with the symbol of the city. Nearby is the Legends Park, where you can see amazing statues showcasing local legends. The nature of the island is diverse: mountains, caves, waterfalls, deep lakes, volcanic sand beaches and much more.
