Phong Nha Kebang National Park

This amazing, full of mysteries territory, located in the center of the country, can be called the abode of grottoes and caves, of which there are about three hundred. Among them, the most voluminous dungeon in the world is Shondong Cave, which reaches a height of 200 meters and a length of more than 5 km. Professional speleologists and amateurs come here: for them, here is a real paradise and a wide field of research.
What you will not see in the mysterious dungeons of the reserve: thousand-year-old limestone deposits formed fantastic formations in the form of bizarre columns, peculiar trees, mysterious sculptural groups that defy description. Underground rivers flow in many caves, waterfalls rustle.

In one of them – Fongne, evidence of the habitation of the ancient Tyam people was found in it: their writings were found on the walls of the cave; the remains of altars are clear evidence of the presence of ancient people here.

Almost the entire area of ​​the national park is covered with forests with lush trees, exotic flowers and shrubs. Here you will not see faded flowers, generous nature painted them with rich, bright colors of all shades of the rainbow. They look like tropical butterflies that hover over them in huge numbers.

The reserve is inhabited by rare animals that you will not see in other parks: Javanese pangolin, Chinese ibex, Tonkin langur, short-tailed macaque are protected by law as an endangered species. A lot of outlandish birds with unrealistically beautiful plumage.

Cat Ba Park

It is located on one of the largest islands of the same name in Vietnam, on the shores of the tranquil Halong Bay. Many meadows and marshes succeed each other in the river basin, where a myriad of exotic birds of paradise live. Green peacocks, pheasants, falcons, hornbill and others are found here.

The animal world is rich and varied. On the territory of the reserve there is a lake called Crocodile because of the abundance of crocodiles in it. A huge number of tropical butterflies curl in a bright, colorful round dance over exotic meadow flowers. Until now, traces of a brutal war remain here: part of the evergreen forests have not recovered after the spraying of chemicals by the US Army. Bamboo is now growing in the poisoned areas, tall grasses are swaying.

Safe tourist routes are laid in the national park, group excursions are held. The necessary infrastructure has been created for tourists, guesthouses are equipped – light houses for overnight stays.

Yok Don Park

This largest nature reserve in Vietnam is located in the south of the country on a flat plateau, where there are periods of drought when the rivers flowing here dry up. The plain is mainly covered with forests, whose inhabitants are gibbons, Asian elephants, Gaur bulls, tigers. Local residents tame elephants and train them, teaching them to ride on themselves (on elephants) tourists, earning a living from this. Green peacocks, Chinese Orioles and other tropical birds are found in huge numbers in the Srepok River basin.
