Weather in Vietnam in April – where is the best place to relax in spring in Vietnam

Vietnam in April can be safely called a good holiday destination. Full-fledged dry weather is established almost throughout the country, the amount of precipitation is reduced to a minimum and the air temperature is high. Sea water also warms up well, and, moreover, no matter in which part of the country you decide to spend your vacation. Weather in the north of the country

In almost the entire territory of the northern provinces of Vietnam, in the middle of spring, the temperature is still high, although the approach of the wet season is already felt. The only exceptions are those areas that are located near the Chinese border. It is from here that cold fronts come every year, which entail heavy rainfall. But in general, the average temperature in the north of the country in April remains in the range of 24-28 degrees above zero, and the average monthly rainfall does not exceed 110 mm.

All tourists who are accustomed to the temperate European climate should go to Hanoi in April. It is here that a comfortable temperature is set (22-25 degrees Celsius), and short rains are rare.

For lovers of the swimming season, another resort town is more suitable – Halong, on the coasts of which you can not only have a good rest, but also become the owner of a seductive tan. The air temperature during daylight hours is kept at 24-29 degrees, and the water warms up to 23 degrees. Rains can be counted on the fingers, although often in the morning the sky is covered with a light haze.

Weather in the central region

For tourists who spend their holidays in the middle part of Vietnam, the spring month will bring moderate and dry weather. At this time, in Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An, real summer comes into play. The temperature of air and sea water is 28031 and 24-26 degrees of heat, respectively, which allows you to hold a full-fledged beach company at the local resorts.

Weather in the south

Like throughout Vietnam, the south of the country experiences the last days of the dry season in April. In just a few weeks, dark clouds will cover the sky, from which tons of precipitation will fall to the ground every day. But for now, tourists can fully enjoy the heat and bask in the warm coastal waters. The temperature of the air and sea water during the day almost never drops below 25 degrees Celsius, which will undoubtedly be good news for those who consider the southern regions as their vacation destination.

If you are going to the resort in mid-April and plan to stay there for at least two weeks, we advise you to pay attention to Nha Trang. Proximity to the central part of the country makes this city very attractive for tourists, whose vacation falls at the end of the month and the beginning of May. The dry season here lasts a little longer. And mid-April is the best time for diving here.

The resort of Ho Chi Minh City is ready to pamper its guests with excellent conditions, in the vicinity of which the temperature is high until the end of April, and the vacation will not be spoiled by rains. Although the air humidity is very high, the average monthly rainfall here is lower than in other southern regions. And the number of sunny hours per month (up to 250!) allows you to have a great time during excursions and on the beach.

The weather on Phu Quoc Island will be a little different. April days are famous for high humidity, and it rains more often here. Of the thirty days, about eight fall on rainy weather. But the water temperature here is the highest and reaches 30 degrees above zero.
