Those who are especially tired will find complete relaxation and tranquility here; enthusiastic and ready to walk for kilometers in order to touch the ancient legends, will be delighted with the excursion program; romantic couples will enjoy the natural beauty, gentle sea and mild Mediterranean climate.

Holidays on the island are available both in summer and winter: this is both an excellent beach option and a chic ski resort.

In winter, from January to early April, Cyprus hospitably welcomes fans of skiing in the alpine resorts of Troodos and Platres. Cozy chalets, a gorgeous panorama from Olympus and high-quality tracks.

In summer, thousands of fans of a decent beach holiday flock to Cyprus. Most of the sandy beaches are Blue Flag for their perfect condition, cleanliness and the highest level of service.

Limassol is the largest popular resort with a universal label. The Russian language can be heard at every step. Here you will find something to do for different categories of tourists: both party youth and families with children. The infrastructure is extensive: from children‘s water parks to nightclubs and discos.

Ayia Napa is the center of resort fun and entertainment, popularly called “the local Ibiza”. Lots of bars and restaurants, beach and night discos. And at the same time, very reasonable prices. The most popular beaches are Flamingo Beach, Fig Tree Bay, Golden Sands and Sandy Bay.

Larnaca is a democratic resort preferred by families with children. There are excellent beaches, a gently sloping entrance to the water for children, a safe and shallow sea, and most importantly, the lowest prices in Cyprus for a budget holiday. The airport is also located almost within the city limits. Couples with children who come to Larnaca prefer Mackenzie and Finikoudes beaches.

When choosing tours to Cyprus, it is important to understand what is expected from the vacation. If you are planning a trip with children, then it is best to go to places with a shallow entrance to the sea and an impeccable coastline. Paphos, Ayia Napa and Catalka are famous for these. If you want something dynamic: dancing, restaurants, then you should pay attention to more youthful places: Protaras or Limassol. Although the youth will not be bored everywhere.
By the way, speaking of Protaras, it should be noted that this is a resort that has brought together a large number of hotels and hotels of various levels. There are both modest apartments and luxury villas.
Golden beaches, stretching for hundreds of meters, attract tourists here from all over the world. One of the most famous beaches is the beach, named after the fig trees that grow densely on all sides. In the summer heat, this is one of the most beautiful places to hide from the heat, while watching the calm azure sea.

Tired of beach idleness, you can order an excursion program at any time. There is something to see in Cyprus.

Paphos is another resort town where literally everything is saturated with the image of Aphrodite. According to local aborigines, it was here, in Paphos, that Aphrodite appeared to the world from sea foam. There are also many interesting ancient museums – the House of Dionysus and Villa Theseus, the Byzantine Museum and the District Museum.

The most mesmerizing place, which is not bypassed by any tourist, is a trip to Paphos to the rocks of Aphrodite (Petra Tu Romiou Beach or Aphrodite Beach). This landmark is located between the cities of Paphos and Limassol. The legendary place is a beach with huge stones “scattered” all over the place. According to legend, it was here that the Goddess of love was born. Not only is the place an incredible experience, it's also stunningly beautiful. The sea surface looks like the finest silk, in which stones are carefully “buried”.

Going a little further, you can visit another legendary landmark that is indirectly associated with Aphrodite – this is the Adonis baths. On a hot summer day, plunge into the cool waters of the lake is a pleasant pleasure. According to the legend, this place was a favorite place where Aphrodite and her lover spent most of their time. In addition to a small waterfall that looks more like a stream with emerald water, these places are rich in stunning tropical plants and even flowers.

Continuing the theme of natural attractions, one cannot ignore the Akamas Peninsula, which is rightfully considered the main natural heritage of the island. Not only is it the most beautiful place in the whole of Cyprus, but it is also one of the last territories to be protected by UNESCO. On Akamas, tourists can freely swim, ride bicycles, thoroughly explore the peninsula, visiting every corner of it, while, despite all the people around them, there will be a feeling of solitude and tranquility. These are the places. Rocky shores, hills and valleys, where amazing plants and wild animals live, are just a small fraction of what will open to the eyes of tourists.

Children love the excursion to the ostrich farm located near Nicosia. You can go around it on a fabulous little train, then taste the most delicate omelet made from ostrich eggs in a cafe, and “for dessert” – play with newborn ostriches.

Ancient Kourion is an interesting place for fans of ancient history. Climbing a high cliff, tourists will see the ancient city ruins and enjoy the gorgeous landscape that opens up from a bird's eye view. And in the city itself, the guide will invite you to explore the sanctuary of Apollo of Hilates, the ancient theater and the Roman baths (baths).

Also, curious tourists can be recommended to visit the unique Museum of Shipwrecks of the Middle Ages, which is located in Kyrenia.

And also – visit the tower of the jealous Moor in Famagusta. They say that it was its owner – the governor of Cyprus Christopher Moreau – who became the prototype of that very jealous man – the protagonist of Othello. In the same place, in Famagusta, you can see the ghost town of Varosh from afar.

Romantics should definitely plunge into the gentle waters of the Petra tou Romiu bay. Just imagine that it was in these waters that the beautiful Aphrodite emerged from the foam. Captures the spirit! We recommend that you consolidate the effect of such bathing on the Aliki salt lake (near Larnaca), where charming pink flamingos live, and then tastefully come off at one of the most groovy discos in Ayia Napa.

Oh, and don't forget to ride your little kids on a donkey at the Dipotamos donkey farm located in Ayia Napa. And do not be afraid of their unusual names – “Hitler” and “Schumacher” – donkeys are quite friendly and adore children.

Rest – rest, but, as they say, not bread alone…

Local cuisine reflects the best culinary traditions of Greece, in which the piquant nuances of Eastern and English cuisines are harmoniously intertwined. Here you can taste everything – fish and seafood, meat and vegetables, fruits and famous cheeses. And, of course, be sure to taste the famous “Commandaria” – a thick and rather sweet wine that is the hallmark of Cyprus. It is prepared according to old recipes, however, using the most modern technologies.

Believe me, you will never forget this divine taste!

Having enjoyed your vacation in Cyprus in all possible and impossible ways, do not forget to stock up on souvenirs for loved ones and friends before leaving.
