For the first time, the Dane Ole Kirk Christiansen began to produce wooden cubes in the distant 30s of the last century. And the word Lego, which became the name of the company, came from the addition of two words “play” and “good.” In the late 40s, holes appeared in the cubes, and children began to use them as a designer.
In recent years, Lego has been so popular that this museum is always full of visitors. And it was opened by a resident of Prague, who was keen on collecting rare cubes. The local museum opened in 2008, it is a branch of the Chocolate Museum in Belgium. The rooms are small, but the tour is very interesting. Some of them are in hangars, others are in the open air. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, there are also temporary exhibitions.
