Road features near Tivat

In the town

Bucha Palace

There are several places in Tivat itself that will arouse a healthy interest in any tourist. The main attraction of the city is the 500-year-old Gothic palace “Bucha”. It was inhabited by representatives of the clan of the same name. From the rooms of the building, they controlled millions of wealth and scientific experiments. Now the palace houses the gallery of Tivat, and a lazy stage for performances of musical groups has been set up in its garden. Prevlaka Island

The island of Prevlaka or the island of flowers is a unique place in the vicinity of Tivat. In the 15th century, the Venetians poisoned the inhabitants of the island, and 400 years later, a temple was built with the relics of 70 murdered martyr monks to perpetuate their memory. North of the city

Now the bay is declared an ornithological reserve. Most of Solila is overgrown with reeds, in which 111 species of birds live. The most valuable of them are the January cormorant, flamingo, sea hawk. Also, 14 species of reptiles live in the bay.

There are special hiking trails on the territory of the reserve. Walking along them you can watch the life of birds and take pictures of birds.
