A small country hid among the mountains of the Caucasus, approaching the Black Sea. Walking daily high in the mountains with strollers is quite difficult for kids. The only diving center in Georgia is considered a feature of the resort. Entertainment lovers go to Batumi. The noisy nightlife is only 15 km away.

Kobuleti

After Batumi, it is the second largest city in Adjara. The recreation area on the coast stretches for 10 km. In the beach area there are areas with different coverage: small, large pebbles, sand. Since 2010, the town has received the status of a tourist zone and began to develop the required infrastructure. There are excellent hotels, cafes, restaurants, entertainment in Kobuleti, but the cost of services is much lower than in the metropolitan area.

There are 4 hotels, small cafes and restaurants in the village. Housing prices are much lower than in large resorts. The village of Sarpi is connected to Turkey by a highway along which the state border passes. It is better to cross it on foot (cars often stand in line). There are no Turkish beaches nearby, which ensures clean water conditions.

The best time to relax in the village of Sarpi is the period from July to the end of September. Air temperature is +27°C, water +26°C. The number of rainy days is minimal. It is easy to get to the village by bus number 16, a fixed-route taxi from Batumi.

Gonio

Each piece of the coastal strip of the Batumi environs is developing, changing every year. Buildings of modern hotels are being erected, beach and entertainment infrastructure is expanding. At a distance of 10 km from the capital of Adjara, the resort of Gonio is considered such a place. The main advantage of the location of the village is the distance from the Chorokhi River. Its waters carry a large amount of clay and pollute the coast at the confluence with the Black Sea. Here the water is always clean.

The coastal strip is covered with large pebbles. It is recommended to walk on it in special shoes (aqua shoes). A gentle entrance to the sea is available in the southern part of the beach.
