Like a fairy-tale kingdom with wonderful palaces, ancient cathedrals, captivating with medieval beauty, the marvelous capital of the Czech Republic stretches along the banks of the majestic Vltava. Camp Museum

The modern Kampa Museum (2003) can be called a repository of all sorts of original surprises of the avant-garde-modern type. It exhibits samples of Czech art of the 20th century, whose connoisseurs founded the museum in the rare building of the 15th century Owl's Mill. Now in this architectural object there is little resemblance to the old mill after the grandiose reconstruction of the building.

It has a glass roof and an unusual glass balcony, already in the courtyard of the museum everyone is greeted by very original exhibits in the form of “crawling” giant babies, red dogs of the same size, orange rabbits and other outlandish sculptures. Above the entrance is a symbolic catchphrase by Jan Mladek about the role of culture in the life of the people. For many years, the couple collected works of art from their idol, a Czech émigré artist of the 19th and 20th centuries. v. Frantisek Kupka.

In order for the Czech people to know the work of their talented son, Mladeky decided to organize a museum, collecting a large collection of his abstract works, which became the basis of the Kampa Museum. Thanks to this, not only the Czech Republic, but the whole world learned about the work of the artist, who was highly appreciated by authoritative art critics. In addition to the works of Kupka, Mladeky acquired works by various avant-garde artists, whose paintings and sculptures were forbidden by the authorities to be exhibited in the 60-80s of the 20th century.

Now the museum presents artistic masterpieces of the masters of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Yugoslavia. Of great interest to the public are the sculptures of the famous cubist Gutfreund, the virtuoso collages of I. Kolarzh. A devoted admirer of Kupka's talent, Meda Mladek, recently added 40 of his works to the museum's collection. The exposition of Kupka's works is represented by a wide variety of genres: sketches, sketches, drawings with expressive expression, graphics, paintings. Prague Castle

This territory with medieval palaces, castles, cathedrals, founded in the 9th century, can be called a cultural and historical open-air museum. An unusually picturesque panorama of red tiled roofs, high cathedral spiers and green islands of gardens and squares opens up from a height, attracting the eye and inviting to see everything up close.

The threshold of Prague Castle is Hradcany Square, the medieval appearance of which is complemented by the ancient palaces of Schwarzenberg-Lobkowitz (Military History Museum), Archbishop's (16th century) and Sternberg and others. A unique architectural monument is the entrance front gate, where a guard of honor is posted (many tourists come to watch its change). In the middle of the square rises the Plague Pillar with a statue of the Virgin Mary on top and 8 sculptures of saints at the foot.

After passing through the front gate, you find yourself in the Honorary (first) courtyard with the magnificent Teresian Palace. The magnificent Baroque Matthias Gate leads to the second courtyard. Remarkable objects of inspection here are a small round chapel of the Holy Cross; an old well, decorated with an intricate renaissance dome lattice; lovely looking fountains. Museum of Alchemists and Magicians

Admirers of the popular love-adventure epic by A. and S. Golons about Angelique remember the description of the alchemical laboratory of Count Peyrac: mysterious underground catacombs in which alchemy wizards worked. These descriptions were not born from scratch, as evidenced by the actually operating Museum of Alchemists and Magicians in Prague.

It is here that you can see the underground laboratory of alchemists, located under an old house on the street. Gashtalsk, in which in ancient times there was, in modern terms, a phytopharmacy. It sold various medicinal collections of herbs. In the 16th century, on the orders of Emperor Rudolf II, an alchemical laboratory was organized in it, where the famous alchemists Tycho Brago, Rabbi Lev and Tades Hadzhek “conjured” worked.

Discovered in the 20th century, the catacombs had 3 exits leading to the Prague Castle, the Old Town Hall and the workers' barracks. The explorers of the dungeon have established that active alchemical experiments were carried out here. The museum building, as the oldest architectural structure, was taken under the protection of UNESCO. A half-hour excursion is a journey into the world of mysterious devices, retorts, flasks and test tubes.

Alphonse Mucha Museum

With the name of Alphonse Mucha (1860-1839), everyone familiar with his work has an association with modern art, called art nouveau, the founder of which in Czech art was the modernist artist. His career in this field began in the theaters of Paris and Vienna, when he, an unknown young man, began to draw up posters for performances by Sarah Bernhardt.

Creating real works of art from posters-announcements, he became in demand in a wide range of various activities: he made advertisements, drew illustrations for books, sketches of patterns for decorating carpets, wallpapers, and jewelry. His talent was appreciated in the theaters, where the artist worked on the scenery.

The expositions of a small museum contain paintings that reflect the versatile work of the innovative artist: paintings, drawings, illustrations, pastels, engravings, lithographs. Unusual sculptures, photos and personal belongings of the artist are of interest. Of the 100 exhibits presented in the museum, most of all refers to the period of his life in Paris.

A working environment for the creative process has been created in the modernist's workshop – it seems that he will now come in and pick up a brush or a chisel and begin to create. Even on the glass of the windows there are posters of the artist, by which you can accurately identify the building where the museum is located.

The Wax Museum

The legendary Madame Tussauds found a lot of followers – so Prague did not lag behind other capitals, and in 1997 they opened their Wax Museum here. In such museums, what I like most is the 100% similarity of the figures with the prototypes. And in the Prague Museum, according to visitors, not all characters have an exact match with their real heroes, but the overall color of the wax personalities is pleasantly surprising.

The compositional space of the halls allows you to calmly inspect any character without crowding, to come closer to him. Politicians, theater and film actors, scientists, composers and musicians of different nationalities are represented here in different halls. Jack Nicholson is very recognizable with his majestic posture, the quivering insecurity of Princess Diana, placed under glass, is brilliantly conveyed; the brilliant Einstein looks funny on a children‘s swing. In the guise of the great Mozart, perhaps, there is not enough sparkle, obsession with his talent, a divine gift; he looks more like a pomaded doll.

The figure of V.V. Putin in a strange, incongruous attire is surprising; astrakhan hat, from under which a long lock of hair peeks out, and a sports jacket. The obviously distorted image of the Russian president is “cast” by the creators. Wax Hitler, who opened his mouth wide in an oratorical frenzy, is protected by a glass case (his head was torn off in one of the museums).

Pomegranate Museum

The Czech town of Turnov is famous for the extraction of red garnet (the only precious stone in the Czech Republic), so it is no coincidence that a small museum has been opened in Prague for it. Its expositions acquaint visitors with the history of pomegranate mining, the development of stone processing technology, and jewelry production. Here you can learn a lot of interesting things about the magical effect of pomegranate, about the great popularity of red stones among alchemists and noble families of the past.

Toy Museum

The most fascinating world of various toys, capable of turning even adults into enthusiastic children for a while, opens in the popular Toy Museum. The very atmosphere of the old building, in part of which the museum is located, creates a fabulously fantastic atmosphere in this amazing toy country. The initiator of the opening of the museum (1989) was Ivan Shtaygr, a famous film director who collected a large collection of rare, original toys of the past and present of different peoples of the planet. Everyone is amazed by the huge variety of types of toys and the materials from which they are made.

There are specimens made 2 thousand years ago from stone, wood and even bread. There is a department dedicated to the famous Barbie: thousands of puppet beauties in various images captivate with their outfits and appearance. All relevant paraphernalia is also presented: Ken, houses, dishes, jewelry, outfits, etc. A sample of the very first Barbie (1959) is on display.

11 exhibition halls show a full-scale toy life with towns, houses, rooms, toy people of different professions and ages. Rare toy exhibits are under glass as a great value. A wonderful, exciting toy world leaves an unforgettable impression on everyone.

Charles Bridge Museum

Praguers honor the Charles Bridge, which for a long time was the only bridge across the Vltava in Prague, so much that it was decided to capture the model of the historical bridge in the museum. Charles Bridge was built in the Middle Ages on the site of the oldest one – Yuditin. Over the course of many centuries, its appearance has changed, the spans of the bridge were decorated with sculptures, supplemented with new elements, and the old bridge still faithfully serves the inhabitants of Prague.

All exhibits of the museum are evidence of the history of the construction of the bridge and its improvement. The main object is a created model of a bridge of the 14th century against the backdrop of an accurately reproduced construction environment: building fixtures and mechanisms; transportation of building materials, figures of 350 workers with tools in their hands. The process of reconstruction of the bridge by masons using special technologies is depicted.

The unusual exposition of the museum is striking in its realistic plausibility and admires its creators. Here, even for the blind, special touch signs are provided, allowing them to get an idea of the Charles Bridge model. The store at the museum has a large selection of souvenirs – historical copies made from a variety of materials.

Franz Kafka Museum

A kind of museum, located in a long squat building that was once a brick factory, is dedicated to the most mystically mysterious writer who prophetically foresaw all the horrors of the 20th century associated with totalitarianism and Nazism. For a simple layman, not everything will be clear here and not everything can be liked in the design.

Those who are familiar with the work of the great prophet will appreciate the museum expositions.
Entering the courtyard of the museum, many are shocked by the sight of an unusual fountain: sculptures of 2 pissing men, whose jets “write out” words on the water. The infamous sculptor D. Cherny put his satirical meaning into this original work. In front of the entrance – a collage of 2 letters “K” – symbols of the writer's last name and the names of the heroes of his books.

The first section “Existential Space” is dedicated to Prague in the first decade of the 20th century, where narrow gloomy corridors and dark halls create an alarmingly mysterious gloomy atmosphere, similar to that which reigns in the writer's books. There are many documents, photographs, things of Kafka, his manuscripts, first editions of his works.

The film complements the impressions, in which the soulless, cold atmosphere comes to life, crushing the “small” disenfranchised person. Running footage shows the house on Golden Lane where Kafka wrote; the house “At the Minute”, where he was born; Old Town Square – the place of his walks.

In a separate room, evidence of the writer's personal life is presented: relationships with parents, friends, women and their role in the fate of Kafka. In the “Imaginary Topography” section, viewers watch videos based on the plots of his famous works. The layout of a terrible device for the painful execution of prisoners, which is written about in Kafka's story about a penal colony, staggers the imagination. Inside the sinister machine is a model of a naked person with a face twisted in a martyr's grimace and eyes madly widened from pain.

A visit to the museum allows you to get a complete picture of the life and work of an extraordinary writer.

How could the capital of a state famous all over the world for beer do without a museum for this drink, which began to be brewed in the Czech Republic in 1087?! Museum of Miniatures

Russian tourists visiting the museum of microscopic products “have their own pride”: the basis of the unique museum collection is microminiatures by a Russian master, a descendant of the legendary Tula Lefty from Omsk, Anatoly Konenko. The talented artist also began his work by shoeing not only a golden, but an ordinary flea. For 7.5 years, the master made microshoes, scissors, a lock and a key out of gold. This was the beginning of a serious passion for microminiatures, samples of which were seen at the exhibition by the Czech President Havel and invited Anatoly to exhibit his works in the Czech Republic. In 1998, the Museum of Miniatures in Prague received its first visitors.

In a medieval building near the Strahov Monastery, there are amazing exhibits that can only be seen under a microscope or through the strongest magnifying glass – they are so tiny. Here, the aforementioned flea is smaller than a square meter. mm, a book with Chekhov's story “Chameleon”; camel caravan in the eye of a needle; a train on a dragonfly's antennae; a mosquito holding a model car in its paw. In a microcopy of the Eiffel Tower, reduced by 100 thousand times (height 3.2 mm), you can see all the details of the structure.

Torture Museum

Next to the Wax Museum, in the basement of a Gothic building, there is a Museum of Torture, which not everyone will find interesting to visit. With rather poor lighting, terrible scenes seem even more terrible: the head of the condemned man on the chopping block; the executioner, with an impassive expression on his face, “tears” the body of the tortured; a bloodied prisoner behind thick bars. Everything is decorated very expressively and evokes feelings of compassion even for the wax martyrs.

Examining the terrifying instruments of torture, you come to think about how sophisticated people were to torture and kill their own kind. The terrible fantasy of the creators of “torture” devices knew no bounds. Kol, “skull crusher”, acting on the principle of a nutcracker; a rack tearing the body of the unfortunate to pieces; The “Spanish boot” that turns the foot into a bloody mess is far from a complete list of savage devices exhibited in the museum. The exhibits evoke disgust, a feeling of compassion for the victims and a desire that these monstrous weapons were only in the museum.

National Museum

The pearl of the architectural ensemble of Wenceslas Square is a monumental and luxuriously decorated neo-Renaissance building of the 19th century. This is the largest National Museum of the Czech capital. The cultural and educational institution has expositions of various fields of scientific activity – history, ethnography, numismatics, anthropology, paleontology, zoology, archeology and librarianship. The museum's collections include about 14 million unique exhibits.

Once inside the building, visitors will be pleasantly impressed by the magnificent hall of the complex, decorated with marble, stone carving ornaments, colorful frescoes and sculptures. Wide staircases covered with red carpets lead to the central hall, where you can see busts and statues of cultural and scientific figures of the Czech Republic. Exhibition rooms are divided into thematic sections. Of interest is the rich collection of exhibits of animals, dinosaurs and human skeletons.

Valuable archaeological finds of historical and artistic value have been collected. These are jewelry, medieval weapons, ancient coins, minerals, crystal utensils and much more.

National Technical Museum

Numerous visitors are attracted by the Prague National Technical Museum, whose expositions are dedicated to the industrial achievements of different countries. The building of the former ancient monastery houses a popular tourist attraction – the Police Museum. Its creators offer visitors to get acquainted with the intricacies of the working methods of law enforcement agencies of the Czech Republic. The exhibition covers the period from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. Numerous items on display clearly demonstrate the activities of criminal investigation investigators, forensic experts and operational police officers. The museum recreates the working environment of a police officer's office, and also has several installations of crime scenes. Lego Museum

The world-famous Lego constructor has won the hearts of more than one generation of children and adults. The Lego Museum in Prague has become a real find for fans of this most popular toy. The basis of the exposition is a set of rare and modern sets of the designer. The exhibition area of the three-story museum is 340 square meters. The halls are literally overflowing with twenty themed Lego collections. Among the abundance of compositions, guests can see entire cities and universes built from cubic elements.

Noteworthy are the sets of vehicles, construction equipment, world architectural landmarks, spacecraft, pirate ships, knight's castles and submarines. Museum visitors will be pleased with the exhibits dedicated to the famous heroes of plots from such works as: Harry Potter, Star Wars and Indiana Jones. The museum has a special game room with tables, where everyone can assemble any design from a huge number of details.

Museum of Czech Music

Among the architectural structures of the Lesser Castle of Prague, a baroque historical building topped with an octagonal dome stands out. At various times, the building, built in the 17th century, served as the church of St. Mary Magdalene, a warehouse, a post office, an archive, a theater and a gendarme barracks. Today the building is occupied by the magnificent Museum of Czech Music. These are collections of valuable musical instruments, the sound of which can be experienced by wearing headphones. The majestic interiors of the premises create a special bewitching atmosphere of the world of music.

The original interior design of the halls, as well as lighting and sound effects enhance the impression of the exhibits. The museum has an extensive collection of rare and modern wind, keyboard, percussion and string instruments. Inside the glass racks are stored unique vinyl records, original musical notation and other educational information materials. The property of the museum is an ancient harpsichord, which Mozart played during his stay in Prague. No less valuable are French harps, neon piano and guitars.

Museum of Communism

Tourists can feel the era of the USSR in the Museum of Communism. Original posters are invited to visit this place, which depict a matryoshka doll with a wolf grin and an Olympic bear with a machine gun. The exhibits of the museum reflect the socialist period in the history of Czechoslovakia from 1948 to 1989. The exhibition occupies several halls, where the communist political system is rather caricatured.

The museum exposition consists of propaganda materials, paintings, banners, busts of the leaders of the proletariat, sculptural compositions, army items, various technical details and many other items. A school class with desks littered with communist literature has been recreated. The interrogation rooms of the secret police and the torture chambers introduce visitors to the dark side of the totalitarian regime. The half-empty shop counter symbolizes the decline of the planned economy of the socialist era.

The institution is open every day without days off from 9:00 to 21:00. The entrance fee is 290 kroons (for adults) and 250 kroons (for students and schoolchildren).

Jewish Museum

The Jewish Museum is a unique complex of historical buildings and monuments erected in the Jewish quarter of Prague. Buying a single ticket, tourists have the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich history and culture of the Jewish people inhabiting the country. The museum consists of five synagogues, an ancient cemetery and a cultural center. Religious buildings contain a huge number of valuable artifacts that testify to the ancient traditions and customs of local Jewish communities. This is about 40,000 collectibles and 100,000 books. It is noteworthy that all the exhibits were collected on the territory of the Czech Republic and Moravia.

Kingdom of Railways

The miniature railway of the Czech Republic is a great entertainment for adults and children. In the basement of a shopping center in Prague, scaled-down models of Czech cities are recreated, striking in realistic detail, through which trains move. Architectural sights, buildings, streets with carriageways, parks, trees, rivers and mountains are authentically displayed. Cars, buses and trains are responsible for the interactive part, each running along its own route.

Transport is regulated by traffic signals and road markings. It is entertaining to contemplate various scenes from the life of little toy men. The main exhibits of the miniature world are freight and passenger trains that travel between numerous stations. The total length of the railway tracks is 121 meters.

National Gallery

An impressive collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures is concentrated in the Prague National Gallery. Museum expositions occupy the luxurious halls of the palace ensembles of Prague, located in different parts of the city. The origin of collections of priceless masterpieces of works of art dates back to 1796. Representatives of the Czech aristocracy founded a group of art connoisseurs. Society set as its goal the task of culturally enlightening and accustoming all classes of the population to the great examples of art. As a result, a gallery was founded, which was constantly replenished with art values, and where admission was opened for all interested citizens.

One of the main exhibitions of the gallery is located in the Kinsky Palace. Here are collections of Czech landscapes of the 17th-20th centuries and exhibits of masterpieces of the arts of the peoples of the East. Behind the glass showcases of the museum, old molds, cups, figurines and all kinds of tools for creating chocolate products are exhibited.

Karela Zemana Museum

The museum of the world-famous Czech film director, animator and screenwriter Karel Zeman invites its visitors to plunge into the fantastic world created by this talented person. His films amaze the imagination with their visual effects, which was an innovation in the film industry in the middle of the 20th century. The expositions of the museum reflect the creative activity of K. Zeman. The halls are recreated film sets and scenery scenes of famous films.

Here you can see many photographs that capture the stages of the life of the master. The main part of the exhibits is devoted to such films as “Baron Munchausen”, “The Secret of Back Cap Island” and “Journey to the Beginning of Time”. At the disposal of visitors there is an opportunity to take part in the creation of special effects and become one of the heroes of the film. Open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. Military Museum

Fans of military history will be curious to visit the museum dedicated to the Czech Armed Forces. In the halls of the complex there are glass showcases with military weapons, ammunition, uniforms, orders, photographs, documents, flags, personal belongings of soldiers and various army attributes. The expositions of the museum are divided into thematic exhibitions: the First World War (1914-1918), the Interwar period (1918-1939) and the Second World War (1939-1945). A collection of pistols, machine guns, grenades, as well as miniature models of tanks, aircraft and artillery pieces are presented to the attention of visitors.

Open from 10:00 to 18:00 every day except Monday and Sunday. The visit is free. The museum is currently closed for renovation.

Lapidarium

The Lapidarium is a unique museum that carefully preserves an impressive collection of sculptures that embody the development of Czech stone architecture from the 11th to the 19th centuries. These are sculptural compositions, which in different periods of time were decorations of the facades of architectural ensembles and buildings in Prague.
The city survived many natural disasters and a warrior, so numerous statues, fragments of building walls, columns, bas-reliefs, pediments and portals were brought to one place for storage. Eight halls house more than 2,000 valuable exhibits representing the cultural and artistic heritage of the country.

The expositions are open to the public every day except Mondays and Tuesdays. The Lapidarium is open from 10:00 to 16:00 (Wednesday) and from 12:00 to 18:00 (Thursday-Sunday). The ticket price is 50 kroons.

Museum of Public Transport

Anyone interested in public transport is recommended to visit the interesting museum, which exhibits ancient buses, trams, trolleybuses and official cars of the past. The exposition is located under the roof of the historic hangar of the tram depot. The magnificent state of transport causes a feeling of admiration.

There is a feeling that the technique is ready this minute to go on flights to transport passengers. Rare trams are the basis of the museum exposition. Tram service in Prague was organized in 1875. The first wagons were moved by a team of two horses, and a cab driver drove it. By the beginning of the 20th century, the length of tram lines was more than 50 kilometers.

Here you can see various models of trams that are valuable for the history of the city. Many visitors to the depot recognize among the abundance of vehicles the famous Ikarus bus, which used to run between many Soviet cities. Trolleybuses from Czech manufacturers – Tatra and Skoda – are on public display. In addition to technical exhibits, the museum has information stands with photographs and route maps, as well as a collection of travel tickets and miniature models of urban transport.

KGB Museum

Fascinated by the history of the USSR State Security Committee, it is worth visiting the Prague Museum dedicated to this famous service. Numerous historical exhibits reflecting the activities of the KGB are collected here. The visitors of the museum are exposed to technical spy devices, personal belongings of the leaders of the organization, original samples of various secret weapons, stationery, uniforms, publications of secret documents and other attributes of the committee. Open every day from 10:00 to 17:00. Tourists can get acquainted with the structure of the KGB for 350 crowns.

Museum of historical chamber pots and toilets

Among the numerous cultural and educational institutions in Prague, one of the most outstanding museums stands out, which houses a collection of chamber pots and toilets from different eras. The history of this original institution began in 2001, when the founder of the museum acquired an ancient fortress and discovered a functioning medieval toilet in it. The accessory he saw made an indelible impression on the owner of the castle, as a result of which he had the idea to collect rare chamber pots and put them on public display.

Today's fund has about two thousand exhibits. Here you can find various specimens – from wooden products in the form of chairs to porcelain night vases with skillful ornamental elements and intricate painted patterns. The pride of the museum are exhibits made for Emperor Napoleon and President Lincoln. In addition to historical plumbing, you can see classic apartment and country toilets.

Cold War Museum

The Prague Cold War Museum is housed in a former secret bunker built under the luxurious Yalta hotel complex. The two-level basement is a bomb shelter, which was originally intended for the secret headquarters of the Warsaw Pact countries. During the confrontation between the USSR and the USA, from the bunker, Czechoslovak intelligence officers listened in to all the rooms of the hotel where Western diplomats, politicians and journalists stayed. To date, a museum has been organized in the bomb shelter. Visitors can see a variety of listening equipment, medical supplies, secret agent clothing, and other items.

Museum of Bedrich Smetana

The monumental quadrangular Old Town Water Tower houses the museum of the greatest Czech composer, pianist and conductor of the 19th century, Bedřich Smetana. The exhibition is dedicated to the life and career of the founder of Czech classical music. The exposition will acquaint visitors with personal belongings, manuscripts and musical instruments of B. Smetana. The museum contains musical instruments, family heirlooms, portraits, photographs and various documents. Classical music lovers are given the opportunity to listen to the famous works of the composer.

Postal Museum

The Prague Postal Museum, housed in a 17th-century baroque house, is popular among tourists. His visit will delight true philatelists with an extensive collection of stamps from different eras of Austria-Hungary, Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. For the convenience of viewers, stamps and postcards are kept in vertical drawers.
The expositions will acquaint museum visitors with the development of the national Czech postal service since 1918.

Noteworthy are hand stamps used to cancel stamps, as well as special rattles, with which postmen notified residents of their visit. Also here you can see the vehicles with which the mail was delivered – these are old carriages and sledges.

Antonin Dvorak Museum

Connoisseurs of classical music and amazingly beautiful architecture are advised to look into the museum, founded in honor of the famous Czech composer Antonin Dvořák. The expositions cover the life, creativity and labor activity of the founder of the national music school. Housed in a magnificent two-story Baroque palace built in the 18th century. The villa previously served as the summer residence of a local bohemian aristocrat and philanthropist. The facade of the mansion is decorated with stucco, stone vases, sculptural compositions and a mansard roof. The main hall of the palace, where the walls and vaults are covered with unique frescoes and bas-reliefs, arouses admiration.

Interior details, antique furniture and household items recreate the atmosphere of the 19th century, allowing guests of the mansion to feel the atmosphere of the era of the life of A. Dvorak. The composer's personal belongings are stored here – musical manuscripts, scores, musical instruments, quills, letters, concert program posters and other valuable relics. With special pride, museum visitors will be shown the mantle and laurel wreaths, which were presented to the maestro when he received the title of Doctor of Cambridge University.

Apple Museum

Those who are not indifferent to “advanced” technical devices have the opportunity to visit the Prague Museum dedicated to the world-famous American company – Apple. Showrooms are filled with impressive collections of computers, phones, tablets and other samples of “apple” products. In total, there are more than 400 copies issued between 1976 and 2012.

It is divided into thematic expositions dedicated to a visual demonstration of the evolution of gadget model lines. In addition to contemplating instances, you can also see the personal belongings of the creator of Apple – Steve Jobs. The glass doors and windows of the halls are filled with quotes from the legendary inventor. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. The ticket price is 240 CZK.

Johannes Kepler Museum

One of the greatest mathematicians and astronomers of the 17th century, Johannes Kepler lived in the Czech capital for 12 years. It is the years of Prague life that are the most fruitful and successful in the activities of the scientist. A small exhibition was housed in the apartment of the historical building where I. Kepler worked. The exposition is a collection of devices and instruments used by the astronomer. The full range of research achievements of the scientist are demonstrated using computer animation on video consoles. Johannes Kepler studied gravity, the nature of the motion of the planets of the solar system, and also wrote scientific treatises on lunar expeditions and dreams.

Gastronomy Museum

Impresses its guests with a demonstration of the history of cooking in various ways. The museum displays kitchen utensils and utensils from the Stone Age to the present.
