There is no contact form here, and that is on purpose: a form would pull in third-party scripts and data without making the answer any faster. An email is enough.

We are not reachable by phone; all contact happens by email only.

We read every message and normally reply within two working days. At weekends and during holiday periods it can take longer.

Found a mistake in an article?

That is the message we are happiest to get. Travel information goes out of date: museums change their opening hours, prices go up, bus routes disappear. If you spot something that is wrong, tell us.

The fastest way is to send three things:

  1. the address (URL) of the page,
  2. the passage in question, ideally as a quote,
  3. if you have it: the source with the correct figure, for example the museum's official website.

We check every report, correct what is wrong and note larger corrections in the article. How we go about it is set out on the page Our editorial process.

In short: we do not publish paid guest posts, unlabeled links, or texts that somebody sends us ready-made. We do not reply to offers of that kind.

Data protection and copyright

What we do not offer

We are not a travel agency and not a travel advisory service. So we cannot help you with a booking, plan a trip for you, or give you information about a trip you have already booked. For bookings, cancellations and refunds, the provider you booked with is always the one to ask.

We are also not allowed to give binding information on visas, entry and health. The official bodies of your country of residence are the ones responsible; we link to them in the relevant articles.

Who runs this website

The operator, the address and the person responsible for the content under § 18 Abs. 2 MStV are named in the legal notice.
