What you get

One letter a month. It covers what we wrote in the past month and, just as importantly, what we updated: changed opening hours, new prices, revised entry rules.

The structure is the same every time:

  • New: three to five articles, each with one sentence on why they are worth your time.
  • Updated: what has changed in existing articles. This is the part to remember if you are traveling in the next few weeks.
  • One practical tip: something we came across while researching that saves money or waiting time.

What you do not get

  • No daily mail. One letter a month, no more.
  • No "today only!" offers and no invented urgency.
  • No sharing of your address. With nobody, under any circumstances.
  • No hidden advertising: if a link in the newsletter earns us money, it says "Ad" next to it, exactly as on the website.

How signing up works

We only need your email address. No name, no city, no date of birth.

  1. You enter your address and tick the consent box.
  2. Your address is stored and marked as not yet confirmed.
  3. You will not be contacted until sending begins.

Let us be straight about it: no confirmation email reaches you at the moment, because no sending is set up yet. Before the first letter goes out, we will put a confirmation procedure in place, so that nobody can sign someone else up without being asked. Anyone who has not confirmed by then will not receive anything either.

Unsubscribing

As long as no newsletter is running, there is no unsubscribe link yet. An informal email to moc.liamg@ed.moc.msiruot is enough and your address is deleted. Once sending begins, every email will have an unsubscribe link at the bottom: one click, no questions, no "are you sure?" page.

What data we store when you sign up, and for how long, is set out in section 11 of the privacy policy.

When the first letter arrives

We are still collecting the first sign-ups. Sending starts once enough readers have joined to make the work worthwhile. Until then nothing happens with your address, beyond sitting in storage.

If you do not want to miss anything in the meantime: every new article appears on the home page and in the sitemap.
