Transfer from Gazipasa airport to Alanya: bus, taxi and prices 2026

Gazipasa Airport (GZP) handles domestic and seasonal flights and sits east of Antalya. For hotels in Alanya, Mahmutlar, and Avsallar, it is the closest entry point to the region: you walk out of the terminal and leave right away, with no transfer from Antalya. The terminal is compact. You get through the arrivals area in a few minutes.

After that, everything comes down to transportation. Under the official 2026 rate, a taxi to central Alanya starts at 2,800 TL, and the distance along the D400 highway is about 40 km (as of 01.04.2026, taxi cooperative price list). The Havaş shuttle bus gets you there cheaper, but only on a schedule.

Antalya's second airport: what it gives you

💡 In short:

  • The Havaş bus runs to Alanya and costs a few hundred lira; you buy the ticket from the driver.
  • A taxi to central Alanya starts at 2,800 TL, to Mahmutlar from 2,000 TL (as of 01.04.2026, carrier rate).
  • For night arrivals, take a taxi or a pre-booked transfer: the bus is aligned with domestic flights.

Antalya receives more flights, but from there you have to drive around the entire bay to reach the eastern resorts. Gazipasa is closer. This airport serves the eastern corner of the coast: Alanya, Mahmutlar, Avsallar.

Who GZP suits:

  • you are booking a hotel in Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kargicak, Avsallar, or near Alara;
  • you are flying a domestic route from Istanbul or Ankara;
  • you do not want to pay for a long transfer after landing.

The terminal is under renovation. Follow the signs and allow an extra ten minutes to get through.

Havaş bus from the airport to Alanya

The Havaş bus connects the terminal with Alanya and runs along the entire eastern coast. The trip takes about an hour, and the stops are spread along the D400 highway between Kargicak and the Alanya bus station (as of 09/2026, Havaş schedule and stops). You buy the ticket from the driver. No prepayment is needed.

  • Who it's for: daytime arrivals, trips with one suitcase and no rush.
  • The catch: stops toward Alanya and back are on opposite sides of the highway, so the list below is split into two directions.

The carrier updates the fare every season. Keep cash in lira: cards are not accepted everywhere on the bus. Look for ATMs in the arrivals hall.

Taxi from Gazipasa: 2026 prices

Taxis at the terminal charge in lira at the official rate, not in euros. Publications with prices in the 45-120 EUR range are outdated: the 2026 price list starts at 2,800 TL for central Alanya (as of 01.04.2026, taxi cooperative rate). Cars wait outside the arrivals hall exit around the clock.

The price is per car, not per person, and it is the minimum rate: season, car type, and passenger count change the total (as of 01.04.2026, cooperative price list). A taxi costs several times more than the bus, but you ride right to the hotel door.

  • Who it's for: families with suitcases, late arrivals, and groups of three or four.
  • The catch: the official price list is the lower bound; in high season the total is higher.

Transfer, car rental, and what to choose

Compare options before your flight so you do not have to decide on the spot with suitcases in hand.

Option

When it pays off

What to expect

Havaş bus

daytime arrival, one or two people

a scheduled ride and stops along the way

Taxi at the terminal

night arrival, luggage, group

the highest seasonal rate

Pre-booked transfer

charter flight and a distant hotel

a fixed price and a meet-and-greet at the exit

Car rental

A transfer is booked in advance, so you see the price before the trip. This is convenient if your hotel is in Avsallar, Okurcalar, or near Alara: from Alanya you still have a long way to go. You can book a transfer from Gazipasa Airport before your flight, and the driver will be waiting for you at the exit.

A rental car pays off on longer routes: Alanya, Side, Manavgat, and the mountains beyond. If you are going for a week and want to move around on your own, factor in the daily rate and parking.

Flights to and from Gazipasa

Domestic flights connect Gazipasa with Istanbul and Ankara, while international routes depend on the season. Some routes operate only in summer. Check the destination list in the airport schedule before buying tickets: it changes more often than taxi rates.

If there is no direct flight to GZP, fly to Antalya. From there, the drive to Alanya is significantly longer than from Gazipasa, and that is worth considering when choosing a ticket. Plan the return trip in advance too: morning departures require a car by five in the morning, when the bus is not running yet.

You can compare flights to Gazipasa on Kiwi.com: it shows connections via Istanbul and prices for different dates.

Wi-Fi, duty-free, and terminal services

Free Wi-Fi in the halls is provided by a mobile operator and the Alanya municipality. You need a connection in the first minutes after landing: to check your transfer, message the hotel, open the map. Due to the renovation, some outlets and counters may have moved.

The duty-free in Gazipasa is more modest than in Antalya or Istanbul. The selection is mostly alcohol and cigarettes from well-known brands, and the shop is located in the arrivals and departures halls after passport control. It is not worth coming here for vacation-long shopping; souvenirs are better bought in Alanya.

The entry form required in 2021 has been canceled. Check the current entry rules for your document on the Turkish foreign ministry website before the trip: passport validity requirements change.

⁉️🤔 Frequently asked questions

How long does the trip from Gazipasa Airport to Alanya take?

The Havaş bus takes about 60 minutes with stops along the way; a taxi is faster. In high season, allow extra time: the D400 highway is busy, and the trip takes longer.

Does the Havaş bus run at night?

The schedule is tied to domestic flights, and charters often land late in the evening. If your plane arrives at night, plan on a taxi or a pre-booked transfer: cars operate around the clock. Waiting for the bus in that case is inconvenient, especially with children.

How much is a taxi to Mahmutlar and Avsallar?

To Mahmutlar from 2,000 TL, to Avsallar from 4,000 TL (as of 01.04.2026, cooperative rate). The price is per car, not per seat, so for three or four people a taxi is often cheaper than the bus. In high season the total goes up.

What is cheaper: bus, taxi, or transfer?

The cheapest option is the Havaş bus: you pay per seat and do not worry about luggage. A taxi runs on the official price list, but it takes you to the hotel door. A pre-booked transfer locks in the price in advance, so it is convenient for night arrivals and distant hotels.

Can you get from Gazipasa directly to Side or Manavgat?

Yes, a taxi will take you to Manavgat from 6,000 TL, to Side from 7,000 TL (as of 01.04.2026, carrier price list). The Havaş bus only goes to Alanya, so from there you switch to an intercity bus from the Alanya bus station.

In short: what to book

If you have a daytime arrival and a hotel in central Alanya, take the Havaş bus. If your plane lands at night or you are carrying suitcases, choose a taxi or a pre-booked transfer. If you are traveling around the region for several days, consider a rental car: it pays off on longer routes.

Fixed-price transfer options are worth comparing before your flight, and a multi-day car rental is easy to calculate by the daily rate. That way the road from Gazipasa will not become an unpleasant surprise on the first day of your vacation.
