Cheap textiles are best bought at the traveling markets: they operate in different neighborhoods on a schedule, and prices there are lower than at the permanent Old Bazaar in the center.

You won't find genuine branded goods at the markets, but many people are happy with replicas. Nice things to bring home include painted ceramics, artisan jewelry, Turkish delight, pomegranate or plum wine, spices, and handmade carpets.
