Where to stay in Andorra: 14 hotels near Grandvalira slopes
In Andorra, a hotel can be a five-minute walk from the lift. But proximity isn't everything: the sector you're in, how long it takes to reach the ticket office, and whether the hotel has a shuttle to the slopes all matter.
The country's resorts are connected into one system: a single Andorra Pass covers 308 km of slopes across Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal, and Ordino Arcalís (09/2026, operator of the three resorts).
Below are 14 hotels and apartments near the lifts: from spa resorts in Soldeu to budget options in Pas de la Casa and Encamp. For each one, we cover the location, who it's for, and where to check prices.

How to choose a ski-in/ski-out hotel in Andorra
💡 In short:
- You can walk to the lift from hotels in Pas de la Casa, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo, and Encamp.
- For families and relaxed skiing, look at Canillo, Arinsal, and El Tarter.
- Prices and opening hours: 09/2026, verified on the official Grandvalira website.
First, pick your sector. You can walk to the base station from hotels in Pas de la Casa, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo, and Encamp. In Arinsal, the lift is also right at the resort, while at Ordino Arcalís you'll drive to the ticket office from the parking lot.
The second factor is how long it takes to reach the ticket office. In high season, the morning line grows fast, so a hotel at the base station saves you half an hour.
Resort | Slopes | 2026/27 season start | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
Pal Arinsal | 63 km | December 4, 2026 | |
Ordino Arcalís | over 30 km | December 2026 | |
Grandvalira | part of the 308 km network | December 2026 |
The third factor is where you'll leave your car. Hotel Sporting has no parking, while Apartamentos Superior El Tarter offers free guest parking. If you don't have your own car, look for a hotel with a shuttle to the lifts, like Hotel Galanthus & Spa.
Pal Arinsal ticket offices are open from 9:00 to 17:00 (as of 09/2026, Pal Arinsal schedule).
