15 Hotels in Alanya near Cleopatra Beach: where to stay on the first line

Hotels near Cleopatra Beach in Alanya sell out before the rest. The sea is close, the promenade is right outside your window, and you can walk to the center. Our selection alone has fifteen of these hotels.

The beach holds a Blue Flag for water quality and serves as the city's main swimming spot (verified on 09/14/2026 on the official Alanya municipality website).

Below are fifteen options across different classes: from five-star properties on the first line to three-star hotels a couple of minutes from the sea. We've put together who each hotel suits, what's included in the stay, and where to find current prices.

If you want your own beach section and quiet, look at Xperia Saray or Kleopatra Royal Palm. With kids, Asia Beach and Grand Okan are more convenient because they have children's pools and playgrounds. Without kids, go for Sunprime C-Lounge or Alaaddin Beach. You'll find the addresses of all hotels on the map at the end of the selection.

How to choose a hotel near Cleopatra Beach

💡 In short:

  • First line and second line: on the first line you pay for a sea view, on the second you save money and walk 5-10 minutes to the beach (per the map).
  • Asia Beach, Xperia Saray, Kleopatra Royal Palm, and Kleopatra Fatih have their own beach sections. You won't have to hunt for a lounger and umbrella.
  • Sunprime C-Lounge and Alaaddin Beach are adults-only: guests with children won't be allowed in.
  • Beach and its infrastructure: 09/2026, verified on the official Cleopatra Beach page.

Look at three things: distance from the sea, meal plan, and pool seasonality. The second line in Alanya is short, you'll reach the water in five minutes from it. The trade-off is clear: for the same money you get a larger room, but no sea view.

Meals are almost everywhere all-inclusive, so dinner in town is something you pay for separately. In winter some outdoor pools are closed, while indoor ones remain open at Asia Beach, Sunprime C-Lounge, and Alaiye Kleopatra. Get a room with a balcony: in July swimsuits dry faster there than in the room.

Cleopatra Beach: what you get by the sea

The beach lies west of the historic peninsula, at the foot of the cliff with the fortress. Access to the public sections is free; you only pay for a lounger and umbrella on private sections.

The sand here is fine and light, the water is clear, and the bottom slopes gently. According to legend, this sand was brought from the Nile Valley for the Egyptian queen Cleopatra, hence the name. Every guidebook tells the legend, but there's one verifiable fact: the beach has a Blue Flag (per the Alanya municipality, 09/2026).

The swimming season runs from May to October; in winter only the hardy swim. The promenade is set up for walking: cafes, playgrounds, bike rentals. In the morning the beach is almost empty; after lunch, first-line loungers get claimed in advance.

Two of the city's main sights stand near the beach: Damlataş Cave with its stalactites and Alanya Fortress on the cliff. Both are included in city itineraries, and both are walkable. From here it's a half-hour walk to the harbor and the Red Tower (per the map).

How to get from the airport to Alanya

Alanya has two air gateways. Gazipaşa Airport (GZP) is 40 km from the city, about an hour's journey (per the map, 09/2026). Antalya International Airport (AYT) is farther: about 120 km and over two hours along the coastal highway (per the map, 09/2026).

The difference for you is huge. From GZP you'll reach a first-line hotel in an hour; from AYT you'll spend half a day. Check which airport your flight arrives at when booking a transfer.

Taxis and private transfers are booked in advance; a shuttle is cheaper but makes stops. A city bus runs between Alanya hotels and the beach, so you won't be stranded without a car either.
