Croatia is nothing like Turkey when it comes to all inclusive. There are few hotels here with an all inclusive system and their own beach, and almost every one has to be hunted down individually. We rounded up fifteen options from Istria to Dalmatia and checked what is included in the price.

The range is wide: from 3* to 5*. Valamar Club Dubrovnik in Dubrovnik operates on an all inclusive basis and is geared toward families with children (as of 09/2026, official Valamar website). Copacabana Beach is 300 m away (per the map), and at Family Hotel Amarin kids are kept busy all day with activities.

In Croatia, all inclusive works differently than in Turkey or Egypt. It usually means three buffet meals, water, local wine and beer. Imported alcohol, coffee from the bar and à la carte dishes are most often extra.

The pool sits among pines, with sunbeds nearby. Where to go with kids on an all-inclusive basis?

Take a look at Family Hotel Amarin near Rovinj, Family Hotel Vespera in Mali Lošinj, and Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora. They have kids' clubs, children's pools, and animation, because the concept is built around families. Meliá Coral does not accept children at all: the hotel is adults only.

How to choose between Istria and Dalmatia?

Istria is closer to Austria, Germany, and Slovenia, so the drive is shorter and prices are softer at the start of the season. Dalmatia is further south: the water is warmer and the season is longer, but the airport transfer takes more time. If you are driving, calculate the route to Poreč and to Dubrovnik separately for each date.
