How to choose an all-inclusive hotel in Vietnam with a beach by your room: 15 options

A private beach in Vietnam and "all inclusive" in a hotel description do not mean the same thing. At one resort it is a long strip of sand in front of a villa with a pool, at another it is a narrow strip along the city promenade of Nha Trang, where loungers stand in a row. Hotel websites write about this with equal enthusiasm, and the difference is visible only in the details.

We have put together 15 beachfront hotels from Phu Quoc to Ha Long Bay and indicated for each who it suits and who it does not. How to choose a hotel with a private beach in Vietnam

Look not at the stars, but at the beach strip. At city hotels in Nha Trang and Duong Dong it is shared: you get a lounger and an umbrella, but not quiet behind the gates. Resorts on islands and in bays keep their own territory with loungers and water activities.

The region matters more than the brand. Con Dao and Reu Island involve separate logistics with a flight or speedboat, Nha Trang and Da Nang are closer to major airports, and Ha Long and Long Hai are convenient for short trips from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Check the road from the airport to the hotel in advance: for some resorts it is over an hour by car.
