How to get to the island

When to go to Samui

The dry season on Koh Samui does not line up with Phuket. The best months for a beach vacation here are February through April and June through August (according to outthailand.com). February is the driest.

From November through December it rains and the sea is rough. If you're going only for the beach, it's better to skip these months. For island sightseeing, the weather works almost year-round, and empty loungers on a private beach can be found even in the off-season.
