How to get there: seaplane from Male

An important planning detail. Seaplanes fly only in daylight, so if you arrive in the evening, you'll have to overnight in Male and fly out in the morning. Book your connection with a buffer, otherwise the first day of your vacation will be lost to the transfer.

The main restaurant, Aailaa, serves breakfasts and dishes from various cuisines. Fiamma handles Italian classics and poolside pizza. Kaashi specializes in Thai cuisine, while Hashi covers Japanese with sushi, sashimi, and teppanyaki.

Shio operates as a grill restaurant, and Horizon focuses on seafood and dishes made from local ingredients. Two bars round out the picture: the Wine Room has a collection of wines from around the world, and Rum Baan serves rum and cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere.
