How to get to the coast

Montenegro's coast is served by two airports: Tivat (TIV) and Podgorica (TPG). From Tivat to Budva is about 20 km on the map, and from Podgorica to Bar is about 50 km (on the map). In high season, the drive takes longer than the map suggests, so allow extra time.

If you're heading to Budva, Petrovac, or Kotor, choose Tivat. For Bar and Ulcinj, Podgorica is more convenient. Book an airport transfer from Tivat to Budva in advance, and the driver will meet you with a sign and take you to your hotel.
