Lines for the most popular rides at Disneyland Paris can stretch for hours in summer. Many visitors arrive without a plan, buy a ticket on the spot, and leave without having ridden half the coasters.
Tickets here are sold by date, so the price of the same trip depends on the day you choose. The resort's second park, formerly Walt Disney Studios, is officially called Disney Adventure World as of March 29, 2026 (official announcement).
You can plan your visit so you get on the main coasters with almost no waiting and without overpaying. Buy your ticket for your specific date, and skip the lines with paid Premier Access. Here's a breakdown of ticket types, how to get there from Paris, and nearby hotels.

The resort near Paris consists of two parks. Disneyland Park has operated since 1992: it's home to Sleeping Beauty Castle, the character parade, and the evening fireworks. The second park, Disney Adventure World, opened on March 16, 2002 as Walt Disney Studios and is dedicated to animated films and extreme coasters (source). The two parks are connected by a pedestrian area, so walking between them takes only a few minutes.

Multi-day tickets lower the price per day: the longer the visit, the cheaper each day becomes. A child ticket for ages up to 11 is usually cheaper than an adult ticket, and children under three enter for free (fare details).
How dates work: from cheap weekdays to peak days
Every day in the sales calendar has its own category and its own price. Quiet weekdays in the off-season fall into the cheapest fare, while school holidays, weekends, and public holidays fall into the most expensive one (date system). Dates in the calendar are color-coded, so you can spot a cheap day at a glance.

How to buy tickets online
Tickets are sold on the resort's official website and in the mobile app. Buying takes just a few minutes:
- Pick your visit date: it determines the price and ticket availability.
- Decide how many parks and days you want.
- Pay by card: a ticket with a QR code will arrive by email.

Premier Access: paid skip-the-line entry
The free Fastpass at Disneyland was discontinued, and since 2021 its place has been taken by paid Disney Premier Access (how it works).
There are two versions. Premier Access One is bought for a single attraction: the price varies by day and demand, usually 5-20 € per person (as of 09/2026, Sortiraparis). Premier Access Ultimate gives you one entry to all the popular rides at once and costs 90-190 € per person per day (as of 09/2026, Sortiraparis).
The pass does not replace your entrance ticket: it opens a separate queue only for a specific ride. You can buy it in the resort's app on the day of your visit, while slots last. For the most popular attractions, they sell out by lunchtime.

VIP assistance and tours
If you want to cover the park in one day without planning, book a private guide. The guide takes you to the attractions you want through the fast queues, helps you get seats at shows, and builds the route around your group's interests.

The easiest way is to take the RER A train: the line goes directly to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station at the park entrance. From the station to the ticket offices it is a couple of minutes on foot, so you do not need a bus transfer.
By car, you take the A4 toll motorway; travel time depends on traffic. Scheduled buses run from Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports to the resort, and a shuttle bus runs from central Paris. Check the RER timetable with the operator before your trip.
The park map is easy to view in the resort app, which helps you find your way around on site.
Tips before your visit
Measure your child's height in advance: many attractions have height restrictions, and without checking you risk being turned away at the entrance. Restrictions are shown on signs at each ride.
Souvenirs are cheaper to buy at official Disney stores in shopping centers rather than inside the park. Guests of Disney hotels have access to Extra Magic Time early entry, when the park opens before the official opening time (about early entry).
Choose comfortable shoes and clothing: you will walk many kilometers around the park in a day. Bring a bottle of water and a raincoat, as the weather in the region changes quickly.
Where to stay near the park

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
Yes, and not just to skip the ticket office line. The ticket price is tied to the date, so buying early lets you lock in a cheaper rate. Tickets sell out for popular high-season dates, and sales for your chosen day may close.
How is Premier Access different from the old Fastpass?
Fastpass was free, while Premier Access is paid. It is sold separately for each ride or as a package covering all the popular ones at once.
Can you see both parks in one day?
Yes, for that you get a 1-day, 2-parks ticket. It costs more than a single-park ticket, but it lets you move freely between Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. With kids, it is easier to start at Disneyland Park and head to the second park after lunch.
