Exactly 7,351 rooms. That's how many rooms are in the world's largest hotel according to Guinness World Records (as of 09/2026). Rankings of large hotels become outdated quickly: in recent years, complexes in Malaysia, the US, and Saudi Arabia have taken the lead.
We've rounded up nine hotel giants and checked their room counts against Guinness records and summary tables. You'll see current figures as of September 2026, understand where the discrepancies in data come from, and learn why six of the nine hotels are in Las Vegas.

Hotel size is measured by room count, not by tower height or land area. That's why a complex of five buildings beats a single massive structure with a shared front desk, and two neighboring hotels owned by the same company are often counted together. That's how The Venetian Resort, Wynn with Encore, and Mandalay Bay with W are structured.
Figures differ across sources, and there are reasons for that. Before its 2015 expansion, First World Hotel had 6,118 rooms, then Tower 2 Annex was added (Guinness record). For Venetian, different tables list 7,117 and 7,264 rooms. We use figures from summary data as of 09/2026, and we recommend checking the room inventory on the hotel's website before booking.

The property is rated only three stars, but the complex is connected by walkways to the Genting entertainment park and the First World Plaza center, which houses cafes, shops, and attractions.
Because of the mountain climate, the walkways inside the complex will come in handy: rain is frequent in Genting Highlands, and you won't want to go outside between buildings. Plan your check-in in advance, on weekends a line of park guests forms at the front desk.

2. The Venetian Resort, Las Vegas

The hotel more than lives up to its name: gondolas travel along indoor canals, ceilings are painted overhead, and recreated Venetian facades surround you. You'll find yourself in a museum under a roof, even if you never step out onto the Strip.
For an overnight stay, this is not the cheapest option on the Strip: older reviews called the hotel the most expensive in the city, and prices here are still higher than at neighboring properties. On the other hand, you get the widest choice of restaurants and rooms.

3. Disney's All-Star Resorts, Orlando

If you're going to the parks with kids, this option is more cost-effective: you stay on resort property, use free transportation to the parks, and don't pay for taxis. The rooms, however, are the most basic in the entire Disney lineup.

5. Wynn Las Vegas and Encore

The resort grounds are comparable in size to a city district, and they fit a private golf course, a spa, a theater, and dozens of boutiques. Older reviews also mentioned a Ferrari dealership that operated inside.
If you're looking for a quiet option away from the noisy center of the Strip, this resort is a good fit: the golf course and gardens separate it from the main crowds.
6. Mandalay Bay and W

7. Luxor Las Vegas
